Kalp yetersizliği olan hastalarda bilgi düzeylerinin, sosyal desteğin ve öz bakımın incelenmesi

Abstract

Çalışma kalp yetersizliği olan hastalarda bilgi düzeylerinin, sosyal desteğin ve öz bakımın incelenmesi amaçlanarak uygulanmıştır. Bu çalışma, betimleyici ve kesitsel bir yapıya sahiptir ve Şubat 2022 ile Temmuz 2023 arasında İstanbul'da bir devlet hastanesinin kardiyoloji kliniğine yatan ve kardiyoloji polikliniğine başvuran 401 hasta üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Verilerin elde edilmesinde Tanıtıcı Bilgi Formu, 'Dutch Kalp Yetersizliği Bilgi Ölçeği (DKYBÖ)','Çok Boyutlu Algılanan Sosyal Destek Ölçeği (ÇBASDÖ)','Kalp Yetersizliği Öz Bakım İndeksi (KYÖBİ)' kullanılmıştır. Katılımcıların yaş ortalaması 53,01±12,27 yıl olup %60,6'sı erkek, %85,8'i evli, %38,2'si lise mezunu %59,4'ü herhangi bir işte çalışmıyor, %89,3'ünün geliri giderine denk ve %54,9'u eşi ve çocuklarıyla birlikte yaşamaktadır. Katılımcıların DKYBÖ'den aldıkları puan ortalaması 7,83±2,35'tir, ÇBASDÖ toplam puan ortalaması 58,57±10,97, KYÖBİ toplam puan ortalaması 41,94±17,05 tespit edilmiştir. Hastaların kalp yetersizliği ile ilgili bilgi düzeyi ve algıladıkları sosyal destekleri orta, KY öz bakım indeksinin yetersiz olduğu saptanmıştır. Algılanan sosyal destek kalp yetersizliği bilgi ölçeği ve kalp yetersizliği öz bakım indeksi üzerinde olumlu etkiler göstermektedir.

The study was conducted to examine the knowledge levels, social support, and self-care of patients with heart failure. This study has a nutritional and cross-sectional structure and was conducted on 401 patients who were admitted to the cardiology clinic and cardiology inpatient treatment clinic of a public hospital in Istanbul between February 2022 and July 2023. To obtain the data, the Introductory Information Form, 'The Dutch Heart Failure Knowledge Scale (DHFKS)', 'The Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS)', and 'Heart Failure Self-Care Index (HFSCI)' were used. The average age of the participants is 53.01±12.27 years, 60.6% are male, 85.8% are married, 38.2% are high school graduates, 59.4% are unemployed, 89.3% have equal income and expenses, 54.9% live with their spouse and children. The average score of the participants in DHFKS was 7.83±2.35, the total score average of MSPSS was 58.57±10.97, and the average total score of HFSCI was 41.94±17.05. It was determined that the knowledge level of the patient about heart failure and their perceived social support were moderate, and their HF self-care index was insufficient. Perceived social support shows positive effects on the heart failure knowledge scale and heart failure self-care index.
