Duygusal emek ve psikolojik iyi oluş: bir yordayıcı olarak yönetsel destek algısı

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, yönetsel destek algısının çalışanlarda duygusal emek ve psikolojik iyi oluşu etkileme düzeyini belirlemektir. Araştırma tarama türünde desenlenmiştir. Çalışmanın örneklemini 412 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Öğretmenlerin yönetsel destek algılarını belirleyebilmek amacıyla Yönetsel Destek Ölçeği, duygusal emek düzeylerini belirlemek amacıyla Duygusal Emek Ölçeği ve psikolojik iyi oluş düzeylerini belirlemek amacıyla Psikolojik İyi Oluş Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde standart sapma, aritmetik ortalama, t testi, ANOVA testi ve regresyon analizinden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, öğretmenlerin yönetsel destek algıları ve psikolojik iyi oluş düzeyleri yüksek, duygusal emek düzeyleri ise orta olarak belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca, algılanan yönetsel desteğin öğretmenlerin duygusal emek düzeylerinin anlamlı bir yordayıcısı olmadığı, psikolojik iyi oluşu ise düşük düzeyde yordadığı saptanmıştır.

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of administrative support on emotional labor and psychological well-being. The study is designed in the survey model. The sample of the study consists of 412 teachers. The data of the study was collected through three scales, namely "Administrative Support Scale", which was used in order to determine teachers' perceptions about administrative support; "Emotional Labor Scale" applied so as to determine their level of emotional labor and "Psychological Well-Being Scale" implemented to determine their level of psychological well-being. In order to analyze the data, standard deviation, mean, t-test, ANOVA and regression analysis were used. According to the findings obtained from this study, the level of teachers' perceptions regarding administrative support and psychological well-being was determined to be high. However, their levels of emotional labor were found to be moderate. In addition, it was identified that the administrative support perception of teachers did not predict emotional labor while administrative support perception of teachers predicted psychological well-being at a low level.
