Türkiye’de hizmetkâr liderlikle ilgili eğitim alanında yapılmış lisansüstü tezlerin betimsel analizi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, eğitim alanında Türkiye’de çalışılmış hizmetkâr liderlikle ilgili lisansüstü tezlerin incelenmesidir. Araştırma, 2000-2020 yılları arasında Türkiye’de hizmetkâr liderlikle ilgili eğitim alanında yapılmış toplam 19 adet lisansüstü tezi kapsamaktadır. Araştırmada, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman incelemesi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre, Türkiye’de eğitim alanında hizmetkâr liderlikle ilgili 13 farklı üniversitede lisansüstü tez çalışması yapılmıştır. Yapılan bu çalışmaların tamamı yüksek lisans seviyesinde olup eğitim alanında doktora düzeyinde bir çalışmaya rastlanmamıştır. Çalışılan tezlerin 18 tanesinde nicel yöntem ve tarama deseni, 1 tanesinde nitel yöntem ve durum çalışması deseni kullanılmıştır. Çalışmalarda karma yöntem kullanılmamıştır. İncelenen lisansüstü tezlerde 11 farklı hizmetkâr liderlik ölçeği kullanılmış olup bunlardan 2 tanesi ulusal alan yazında geliştirilmiştir. Araştırma neticesinde; hizmetkâr liderlik ile ilgili eğitim alanında yapılan lisansüstü tezlerde nitel ve karma yöntem kullanılarak yapılan çalışmaların artırılması, doktora düzeyinde çalışma yapılması, hizmetkâr liderliğin Türk eğitim sistemine uygun teorik ve uygulamaya yönelik bir modelinin geliştirmesi önerilmektedir.

The aim of this study is to examine the postgraduate theses on servant leadership studied in the field of education in Turkey.The research covers a total of 19 postgraduate theses made in the field of servant leadership education in Turkey between the years 2000-2020. In the research, document review method, one of the qualitative research methods, was used. According to the research findings, postgraduate thesis studies on servant leadership in the field of education were conducted in 13 different universities in Turkey. All of these studies are at the master's level and there is no doctorate-level study in the field of education. Quantitative method and screening design were used in 18 of the theses studied, and qualitative method and case study design were used in 1 of them. Mixed methods were not used in the studies. 11 different servant leadership scales were used in the postgraduate theses examined, and 2 of them were developed in the national literature. As a result of the research; It is recommended to increase the number of studies using qualitative and mixed methods in postgraduate theses in the field of education on servant leadership, to conduct studies at the doctoral level, and to develop a theoretical and practical model of servant leadership suitable for the Turkish education system.
