Es’ad Erbilî’nin ‘İster’ Redifli Naʿtının Şerhi

Abstract

Hayatı, Osmanlı Devleti’nin sonu ile Cumhuriyet döneminin ilk yılları arasına denk gelen Muhammed Es’ad Erbilî, Osmanlı Devleti’nde Meclîs-i Meşâyih reisliği yapmıştır. Cumhuriyetin kurulmasıyla bu kurum kaldırılmış olsa da tasavvufî yönü halk nezdinde itibar görmüştür. Döneminin bu muteber mutasavvıfı aynı zamanda şairliği ile de maruftur. Tekkede yetişmesine rağmen tasavvuf halk edebiyatından ziyade dîvan edebiyatı geleneğini benimseyerek aruz ölçüsüyle şiirler yazmıştır. Bu durum onu çoğu sufî-şairden farklı kılan bir konuma yerleştirmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı Es’ad Erbilî’nin Divân-ı Es’ad adlı mürettep divânında bulunan ‘İster’ redifli na’tını şerh etmek ve onun şairlik yönünü tanıtmaktır. Es’ad Erbilî’nin yazmış olduğu bu na’t incelenirken bilimsel araştırma tekniklerinden kaynak taraması ve literatür analiz yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Na’t şerh edilirken Cemal Bayak’ın editörlüğünü yaptığı nüsha esas alınarak çeşitli kaynaklardan istifade edilerek beyitler izah edilmiştir. Her ne kadar açıklamalar kaynaklara yapılan müracaatlar neticesinde şerh edilmiş olsa da şairin muradı kendisinde saklı kalmıştır. Bu şiirde birçok sembolik unsurun kullanıldığı ancak üslup ve muhteva açısından da kendinden önceki şiirlerden çok büyük farklılıklar arz etmediği gözlemlenmiştir.

Muhammad Esʿad Erbilî lived during the transition from the Ottoman Empire to the early Republican period, serving as the head of the Majlis-i Mashāyih. Despite the abolition of this institution with the establishment of the Republic, his Sufi aspect was respected by the public. This esteemed Sufi of his time was also reknowned for his poetry. Although his upbringing in a dervish lodge, he wrote poems in aruz prosody, adopting the tradition of dîvān literature rather than Sufi folk literature. This set him apart from many Sufi poets. The focus of this study is to annotate Esʿad Erbilī's naʿt with the redif 'Ister' in his Dîvān-ı Esʿad and to introduce his poetry. In analyzing this naʿt written by Esʿad Erbilî, literature review and literature analysis methods from scientific research techniques were employed. While annotating the naʿt, the couplets were explained by making use of various sources based on the copy edited by Cemal Bayak. Although the explanations were annotated due to the references to the sources, the poet's intention remained hidden in himself. It has been observed that many symbolic elements are used in this poem, but in terms of style and content, it does not differ greatly from its predecessors.
