Ortaokul öğrencilerinin yaşam doyumu ile sosyal beceri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırma, ortaokul öğrencilerinin yaşam doyumu ile sosyal becerileri arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya koymak amacıyla gerçekleştirildi. Ortaokul öğrencilerinin yaşam doyumu ile sosyal beceri arasındaki ilişkiyi demografik değerler açısından ortaya koyduğu araştırmada ilişkisel model kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini İstanbul ili Bahçelievler ilçesindeki ortaokullar oluşturmaktadır. Örneklem grubunu ise araştırmaya katılan 534 ortaokul öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Veriler, 2021 yılı Nisan-Mayıs ayları içerisinde, Sosyal Beceri Ölçeği (SBÖ), Yaşam Doyumu Ölçeği (YDÖ) ve araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan Kişisel Bilgi Formu tarafından elde edilmiştir. Araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerin %67,2’ünü kız, %32,8’sini erkek öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır. Öğrencilerin %33,1’i 5.Sınıf, %17,4’ü 6.Sınıf, %39’u 7.Sınıf ve %10,5’i de 8.Sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Öğrencilerin %5,8’ini boşanmış aileler, %94,2’sini birlikte yaşayan aileler oluşturmaktadır. Örneklem grubu için ölçeklerin Cronbach alpası sırasıyla; YDÖ (,81) ve SBÖ (,85) olarak belirlendi. Elde edilen değerlerin cronbach alpa güvenilirlik katsayısı açısından yüksek derecede güvenilir olduğu belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen veriler Mann-Whitney U, Kruskal Wallis Test ve Spearman Korelasyon ile analiz edildi. Araştırma da elde edilen veriler ışığında yaşam doyum düzeyi ile sosyal beceri arasında pozitif bir ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

This research was carried out to reveal the relationship between secondary school students' life satisfaction and social skills. The relational model was used in the study in which secondary school students revealed the relationship between life satisfaction and social skills in terms of demographic values. 534 secondary school students did not participate in the study. The data were obtained by Social Skills Scale (SDS), Life Satisfaction Scale (LDS) and Personal Information Form prepared by the researcher in 2021. 67.2% of the students participating in the research are female students and 32.8% are male students. 33.1% of the students are 5th Grade, 17.4% are 6th Grade, 39% are 7th Grade and 10.5% are 8th Grade students. Divorced families constitute 5.8% of the students and families living together constitute 94.2%. Cronbach alpas of the scales for the sample group, respectively; It was determined as LDS (.81) and SST (.85). It was determined that the obtained values were highly reliable in terms of the Cronbach alpa reliability coefficient. The obtained data were analyzed with Mann-Whitney U, Kruskal Wallis Test and Spearman Correlation. In the light of the data obtained in the research, it has been determined that there is a positive relationship between the level of life satisfaction and social skills.
