“Otel Odaları” Şiiri Üzerine Yeni Eleştirel Bir Bakış

Abstract

Bu makalede 1940-1960 yıllarında etkin olup metni esas alan Yeni Eleştiri (New Criticism) kuramıyla Eagleton’un kelimenin çok anlamlı görüşü çerçevesinde Necip Fazıl’ın (1904- 1983) 1927 yılında kaleme aldığı “Otel Odaları” şiiri tahlil edilecektir. Yeni Eleştiri kuramı, edebî eseri; yazar, okur, toplum, tarih gibi unsurlardan soyutlayarak metin odağında ele alır. Şiir, şairin biyografisinden, okurun yorumundan, şiirin yazıldığı toplumsal ve tarihsel süreçlerden soyutlar. Bu anlamda edebiyat eleştirmeni, metnin dışına çıkmadan metni kendi iç tutarlılığı ve bütünlüğü içerisinde analiz eder. Eagleton da şiirsel dilde kelimelerin tarihsel süreçteki serüvenlerini göz önüne alarak anlam çoğalmasına vurgu yapar. Fazıl’ın “Otel Odaları” şiir tahlilinde her iki görüşten yararlanarak metin esaslı bir çözümleme yapılmıştır. Şiir incelemesinde şair, yalnız, kimsesiz, yabancılık çeken insanın hayat hikâyesini şiirin başlığından itibaren kelimeler yoluyla okuyucuya aksettirir. Şiirin dizeleri ilerledikçe kelimeler yoluyla yalnızlık ve yabancılık hissi farklı kelimelerle derinleştirilir. Fazıl, şiirinde sadece kelimeler üzerinden yalnızlık ve yabancılık hislerini organik bir bütünlük içerisinde kurgular. Bu çalışmada metin esaslı bir yaklaşımla “Otel Odaları” şiiri beyitler temel alınarak tahlil edilmeye çalışılacaktır.

In this article, the poem "Hotel Rooms" written by Necip Fazıl (1904-1983) in 1927 will be analyzed within the framework of New Criticism theory, which was active in the years 1940- 1960 and based on the text, and Eagleton's polysemous view of the word. New Criticism theory, literary work; It focuses on the text, abstracting from elements such as author, reader, society and history. Poetry abstracts from the poet's biography, the reader's interpretation, and the social and historical processes in which the poem was written. In this sense, the literary critic analyzes the text within its own internal consistency and integrity, without going beyond the text. Eagleton also emphasizes the proliferation of meanings in poetic language by considering the historical adventures of words. In the analysis of Fazıl's poem "Hotel Rooms", a text-based analysis was made by making use of both views. In the poetry analysis, the poet reflects the life story of a lonely, lonely person to the reader through words, starting from the title of the poem. As the lines of the poem progress, the feeling of loneliness and alienation is deepened with different words. In his poetry, Fazıl constructs the feelings of loneliness and alienation in an organic integrity only through words. In this study, the poem "Hotel Rooms" will be analyzed based on couplets with a text-based approach.
