Gümüşhaneli Aşık Yaşar Demir'in Aşıklık Geleneğindeki Yeri

Abstract

Âşıklık geleneği, temsilcileri âşıkların olduğu kadim kültür hazinemizdir. Âşıklar, kültürel mirasımızın taşıyıcısı olup ve bu geleneğin inkıtaya uğramadan muhafazası ve günümüze kadar intikaline katkı sunmuşlardır. Anadolu coğrafyasında bu geleneğin önemli temsilcileri hep var olmuştur. Bu âşıklardan bir tanesi de Gümüşhaneli Âşık Yaşar Demir’dir. Bu çalışmanın konusu, âşıklık geleneği ve bu geleneğin günümüz temsilcilerinden Âşık Yaşar Demir’in yaşam öyküsü, âşıklığa başlaması ve âşıklık geleneğindeki yeridir. Çalışmanın temel gayesi ve literatüre katkısı ise, Âşık Yaşar Demir’in mûsikîşinaslığını ve müzik eserlerini ortaya koymak, bu alana katkı sağlamaktır. Âşıklık geleneğinin tarihi seyrinin genel olarak ele alındığı çalışmanın yöntemi nitel araştırma olup metodolojisi ise literatür taraması yoluyla âşıklık geleneği hakkında yazılmış kitap, makale ve buna benzer çalışmaların incelenmesidir. Ayrıca Âşık Yaşar Demir’in kendisiyle görüşme gerçekleştirerek yarı yapılandırılmış mülakat tekniği uygulanmış; Âşık Yaşar Demir’in, mahlas alma, rüya görme, bade içme gibi âşıklık geleneğinin unsurlarını taşıdığı bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır. Sözü ve müziği kendisine ait olan 50 adet bestesi tablo halinde verilerek bu eserlerin formları tespit edilmiştir. Âşık Yaşar Demir, Cumhuriyet döneminden itibaren tespit edilebilen ilk asker âşıktır. Söz konusu bu çalışmada Âşık Yaşar Demir’in sanatına ve âşıklık geleneği içerisinde yer alışına değinilecektir. Böylelikle âşığın gelecek nesiller tarafından tanınmasını ve gelenek içerisindeki öneminin vurgulanması sağlanmış olacaktır.

The tradition of ''Âşıklık''(minstrelsy) is a valuable part of our ancient cultural heritage, with its representatives being the minstrels themselves. These minstrels serve as carriers of our cultural heritage and have contributed to the preservation and continuity of this tradition up to the present day without interruption. In the Anatolian region, important representatives of this tradition have always existed. One of these minstrels is Âşık Yaşar Demir from Gümüşhane. The subject of this study is the tradition of 'Âşıklık' and the life story of Âşık Yaşar Demir, one of the contemporary representatives of this tradition, including his initiation into minstrelsy and his place in the tradition.The primary goal and contribution of this study to the literature is to present Âşık Yaşar Demir's musical knowledge and musical compositions, thereby contributing to this field. The methodology of the study, which generally covers the historical course of the minstrelsy tradition, is qualitative research, and the methodology involves the examination of books, articles, and similar works written about the minstrelsy tradition through a literature review. In addition, a semi-structured interview technique was applied by conducting an interview with Âşık Yaşar Demir himself. The findings indicated that Âşık Yaşar Demir embodies elements of the minstrelsy tradition, such as adopting a pseudonym, having dreams, and engaging in the traditional act of drinking 'bade' (a type of beverage). A total of 50 compositions, consisting of lyrics and music composed by Âşık Yaşar Demir himself, are presented in tabular form, and the forms of these works are determined. Âşık Yaşar Demir is identified as the first military minstrel who can be traced back to the Republican era. In this study, we will discuss Âşık Yaşar Demir's art and his place within the minstrelsy tradition. This will help ensure that the minstrel is recognized by future generations and emphasize his significance within the tradition.
