Sosyal çalışma ontolojisi üzerine eleştirel bir deneme

Abstract

Sosyal çalışma bir bilim olarak kesin kabul görmüş olsa da ontolojik yapısı hala tartışılmaktadır. Sosyal çalışma kendisini bu problemden kurtarabilmesi için diğer sosyal bilimlerle olan etkileşimini daha fazla irdelemelidir. Sosyal çalışma kendisini eklektik bir bilim olarak tanımlamasına rağmen bilgi temelinde diğer disiplinler ile olan bağlantı noktalarını tam olarak çizememiştir. Sosyal çalışma ve diğer disiplinler arasındaki farkların genellikle uygulama noktasında olduğuna yönelik vurgu yapılmaktadır. Sosyal çalışmanın kendi bilimsel zeminini daha da sağlamlaştırabilmesi için mesleğin ve disiplinin ontolojisine daha eleştirel bir gözle bakmalıdır. Bu çalışma, sosyal çalışmanın meslekleşme ve bilimselleşme sürecinde, disiplinin ontolojisine ve mesleğin temel değerlerine yönelik eleştirel bir deneme ortaya koymaya çalışacaktır.

Although social work is accepted as a science, its ontological structure is still open to discussion. Social work should scrutinize its interaction with other social sciences in order to get rid of this problem. Although social work defines itself as an eclectic science, it has not been able to draw the connection points with other disciplines on the basis of knowledge. It is emphasized that the differences between social work and other disciplines are generally at the point of application. Social work should have a more critical view of the ontology of the profession and discipline in order to further strengthen its scientific ground. This study will attempt to demonstrate a critical essay to the ontology of the discipline and to the basic values of the profession in the process of professionalization and scientificization of social work.
