Ortaokul öğrencilerinin sosyal destek algısı, yaşam doyumu ve akademik özyeterliliklerin incelenmesi

Abstract

2015-2016 eğitim-öğretim yılında İstanbul ili Küçükçekmece ilçesinde bulunan okullarının 5 ve 8. sınıflarında öğrenim gören öğrencilerden oluşmuştur. Araştırma örnekleminde, 311'i kız, 342'si erkek olmak üzere toplam 653 öğrenci ile çalışılmıştır. Araştırmada veri kaynağı olarak, Kişisel Bilgiler Formu, Çocuk ve Ergenler İçin sosyal destek ölçeği, Çok Boyutlu Öğrenci Yaşam Doyum Ölçeği ve Akademik Özyeterlik ölçeği kullanılmıştır. İki değişken arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi için pearson mementler çarpımı korelasyon katsayısı hesaplanmıştır. Elde dilen verilerle tek yönlü varyans analizi, iki değişken arasındaki farkın manidarlığı için de ilişkisiz t-testi kullanılmıştır. Ayrıca sosyal destek algısı, akademik özyeterlilik toplam ve alt ölçeklerinin yaşam doyumunun yordama durumunu ortaya koymak için çoklu regresyon analizi yapılmıştır. Sosyal destek kaynakları ve akademik özyeterlilik ölçeği puanları ile öğrencilerinin yaşam doyumu aile, arkadaş, okul yaşantısı, benlik, çevre memnuniyetine göre anlamlı bir yordayıcı olduğu saptanmıştır. Sosyal destek algısı aile ölçeğinden elde edilen puanlar cinsiyete göre kızlar lehine anlamlı bir farklılık göstermiştir. Sınıf düzeyleri küçük olan, anne baba beraber yaşayan ve kardeş sayısı az ve karne not ortalaması ile ailenin gelir düzeyi yüksek olan öğrencilerin lehine aile sosyal destek algısı anlamlı bir farklılık göstermiştir. Sosyal destek algısı arkadaş ölçeğinden elde edilen puanlar cinsiyete göre kızlar lehine anlamlı bir farklılık gösterdiği görülmüştür. Sınıf düzeyleri büyük olan, anne baba boşanmış, kardeş sayısı az ve karne not ortalaması ile ailenin gelir düzeyi yüksek olan öğrencilerin lehine arkadaş sosyal destek algısı anlamlı bir farklılık göstermiştir. Sosyal destek algısı öğretmen ölçeğinden elde edilen puanlar cinsiyete ve kardeş sayısına göre anlamlı bir farklılık göstermemektir. Sınıf düzeyleri küçük olan, anne baba boşanmış ve karne not ortalaması ile ailenin gelir düzeyi yüksek olan öğrencilerin lehine öğretmen sosyal destek algısı anlamlı bir farklılık göstermiştir.

The population of this study consists of 5th and 8th grades students of Istanbul Küçükçekmece Secondary School of the 2015-2016 Academic Year. The study sample consists of 311 female, 342 male; in total 653 students. As the data resources, the followings are used: Personal Information Form, Social Support Scale for Children and Adolescents, Multi-Dimensional Student Life Satisfaction Scale (Short Form) and Academic Self-sufficiency Scale. To study the relation of two variables, the Pearson Momentums multiplying correlation co-efficiency is calculated. Also, multi regression analysis is done to present the status of inspecting the social support perception, total and sub- scales of academic self-sufficiency and life satisfaction. It is detected that Social support resources and academic self-sufficiency scale points and students' life satisfaction is a meaningful precursor comparing to family, friend, school life, subjective wellness and environmental satisfaction. According to Social support perception family scale there is a meaningful difference in the favor of female when delivered according to gender. There is a meaningful difference for social support perception in the favor of the students who are at the lower classes, whose parents live together, who have fewer siblings and whose family income higher. According to points gotten from social support perception friend scale, there is a meaningful difference in the favor of female students. Friend social support perception has a meaningful difference in the favor of students at the higher class, whose parents are divorced, who have fewer siblings and whose family income is high. Social support perception teacher scale points show that there is a meaningful difference in the favor of female students. Teacher social support perception has a meaningful difference in the favor of the students who are younger, whose parents are divorced whose transcript and family income are high.
