Sivil toplum kuruluşlarında gençlik eğitim programlarının uygulanması ve yönetimine ilişkin paydaş görüşleri: Marifet Okulu Projesi örneği

Abstract

Çalışmanın amacı, sivil toplum kuruluşlarının yaygın eğitim faaliyetleri kapsamında yaptığı gençlik çalışmalarının yönetim süreçlerini, katılımcı öğrenci ve veli memnuniyet düzeyini örnek bir proje çalışması üzerinden incelemektir. Araştırmada nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden genel tarama modellerinden genel tarama araştırmaları kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini, Marifet Okulu Programında yer alan 34 program koordinatörü, 1438 öğrenci ve 1438 veli oluşturmaktadır. Örneklemi ise, 34 program koordinatörü, 574 öğrenci ve 507 öğrenci velisi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmaya katılan öğrencilere ve velilere yönelik uygulanan ölçeklerde ve koordinatörlere yönelik uygulanan ankette elde edilen veriler SPSS programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan istatistiksel analiz sonucunda elde edilen bulgular yorumlanmıştır. Ölçekteki değişkenler arasında farklılığa ait verileri elde edebilmek için ikili karşılaştırmalarda t testi, ikiden fazla değişken gruplarının karşılaştırılmasında ise f testi (ANOVA) kullanılmıştır. Farklılıkların anlamlı bulunması durumunda ise çoklu karşılaştırma (SCHEFFE) testi uygulanmıştır. Ayrıca ölçeklerin ve anketin madde puan ortalamalarına da yer verilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda sivil toplum kuruluşlarında gençlere yönelik yapılan örnek eğitim projesinin ölçeğin madde puan ortalamaları incelendiğinde öğrencilerde ve velilerde yüksek düzeyde bir memnuniyet oluşturduğu tespit edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin demografik özelliklerinden cinsiyet, okul türü ve bulunduğu yıl değişkenlerine göre program memnuniyet düzeyi açısından anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmamıştır. Sınıf değişkenine göre program memnuniyet düzeyi açısından anlamlı bir fark bulunmuştur. Velilerin demografik özelliklerinden cinsiyet, bulunduğu yıl ve meslek değişkenlerine göre memnuniyet düzeyi açısından anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmamıştır. Gençlik çalışmaları da dahil olmak üzere yapılan yaygın eğitim faaliyetlerinin eğitim yönetimi süreçlerine göre uygulanması önem arz etmektedir. Sistemli ve planlı bir şekilde uygulanan örnek proje sonucunda uygulayıcı ve katılımcıdan elde edilen memnuniyet, gençlik çalışmalarını yürüten kuruluşların tüm faaliyet süreçlerindeki yeterliliklerini arttırmaya yönelik adımlar atması gerektiği sonucuna ulaştırmıştır.

The aim of the study is to convey the management processes of youth work carried out by non-governmental organizations within the scope of non-formal education activities and the level of participant student and parent satisfaction through a sample project study. General survey research, one of the quantitative research methods, was used in the research. The research consists of 34 program coordinators, 1438 students and 1438 parents in the Marifet School Program.The sample consists of 34 program coordinators, 574 students and 507 students' parents. The data obtained in the scales applied to the students and parents participating in the research and the questionnaire applied to the coordinators were analyzed with the SPSS program. The findings obtained as a result of the statistical analysis were interpreted. T test was used in pairwise comparisons and f test (ANOVA) was used in comparison of groups of more than two variables in order to obtain data on the difference between the variables in the scale. If the differences were found to be significant, the multiple comparison (SCHEFFE) test was applied. In addition, the item score averages of the scales and the questionnaire were also included. As a result of the research, when the item point averages of the scale of the exemplary education project for young people in non-governmental organizations were examined, it was determined that a high level of satisfaction was created in students and parents. There was not found any significant difference in terms of program satisfaction according to the demographic characteristics of the students, gender, school type and year of study. A significant difference was found in terms of program satisfaction level according to the class variable. No significant difference was found in terms of satisfaction level according to the demographic characteristics of the parents, gender, year and occupation variables. It is important that non-formal education activities, including youth work, are implemented according to education management processes. The satisfaction obtained from the practitioner and the participant as a result of the exemplary project implemented in a systematic and planned way has led to the conclusion that the organizations carrying out youth work should take steps to increase their competence in all activity processes.
