Cerrahi hemşirelerinin mahremiyet bilinçlerinin incelenmesi

Abstract

GİRİŞ ve AMAÇ: Bu araştırmada cerrahi klinikleri ve ameliyathanede çalışan hemşirelerin mahremiyet bilinci düzeyleri ve ilişkili faktörlerin belirlenmesi amaçlandı. YÖNTEM ve GEREÇLER: Tanımlayıcı tipte olan bu araştırma 25 Nisan-24 Mayıs 2019 tarihinde yapıldı. Kocaeli ilinde bir eğitim araştırma hastanesinin cerrahi klinikleri ve ameliyathanesinde çalışan 120 hemşire araştırmanın evrenini, 100 hemşire örneklemini oluşturdu. Veri toplama aracı olarak, "Tanıtıcı Bilgi Formu" ve “Mahremiyet Bilinci Ölçeği” kullanıldı. Beşli likert tipinde olan mahremiyet bilinci ölçeği 11 maddeden ve 3 alt boyuttan oluşmaktadır. Veriler yüz yüze görüşme yöntemi ile toplandı ve SPPS 25.0 istatistik paket programı kullanılarak değerlendirildi. BULGULAR: Araştırma kapsamına alınan hemşirelerin %86’sının kadın,%59 ‘nun evli,%80’nin lisans mezunu%77’sinin hasta hakları eğitimi aldığı belirlendi. Yaş ortalamasının 34.4 ± 7.4, kurumda çalışma yılı ortalamasının 6.8 ± 6.4 ve meslekte çalışma yılı ortalamasının 13.4 ± 7,7 olduğu bulundu. Araştırmada tüm hemşirelerin “Mahremiyet Bilinci Ölçeği” toplam puan ortalaması 4.5 ± 0.44 olarak bulundu. Hemşirelerin cinsiyetine göre ölçek alt boyutları olan kendine ait mahremiyet bilinci, başkaları için mahremiyet bilinci ve mahremiyetin sürdürülmesi ile genel mahremiyet bilinci açısından istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık (p<0.05) bulundu. Farkın erkek cinsiyetten kaynaklandığı saptandı. TARTIŞMA ve SONUÇ: Elde edilen bulgulara göre cerrahi hemşirelerinin mahremiyet bilinci yüksektir. Bu çalışmanın farklı örneklem gruplarında yapılması ve uygulamaya yönelik gözlemsel çalışmalar ile desteklenmesi önerilebilir

INTRODUCTION: In this study, it was aimed to determine the factors affecting the privacy levels and privacy levels of the nurses working in the surgical clinics and the operating room. METHODS: This descriptive study was conducted on 25 April-24 May 2019.120 nurses working in surgical clinics and operating room of an education research hospital in Kocaeli province consisted of the study population and 100 nurses sample."Introductory Information Form" and "Privacy Awareness Scale" were used as data collection tools. The fivepoint Likert-type privacy awareness scale consists of 11 items and 3 sub-dimensions.Data were collected by face to face interview method and evaluated using SPPS 25.0 statistical package program. RESULTS: It was determined that 86% of the nurses included in the study were women, 59% were married, 80% were undergraduate graduates and 77% received patient rights education.The mean age was 34.4 ± 7.4, 6.8 ± 6.4 years in the institution and 13.4 ± 7.7 years in the profession.In the study, the total score average of Öl Privacy Awareness Scale in of all nurses was found to be 4.5 ± 0.44.There was a statistically significant difference between the nurses' own privacy awareness, privacy awareness for others and the maintenance of privacy and general privacy awareness (p <0.05).The difference was due to male gender. DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION: In accordance with the findings, it can be said that the nurses' awareness of privacy is high. It can be suggested that this inability to be performed in different sample groups and supported by observational studies.
