Uzaktan eğitimle yabancılara Arapça öğretimi

Abstract

2019 yılında Çin'in Wuhan kentinde ortaya çıkan Koronavirüs salgını kısa sürede tüm dünyaya yayılmıştır. Koronavirüs salgını nedeniyle birçok hizmet sektörü bu durumdan olumsuz etkilenmiştir. Türkiye'de ilk covid vakasının görülmesiyle eğitim sektörüne de yansımış ve ilköğretim, ortaöğretim ve yükseköğretimde uzaktan eğitim sistemine geçilmiştir. Bu süreci daha sağlıklı bir şekilde atlatabilmek ve Arapça öğretiminden uzaklaşmamak için gelişen teknolojiden yararlanarak amacıyla uzaktan eğitim modeli ile başka öğretmenlerden Arapça dersi alarak ders açıklarını kapatmaya çalışmışlardır. Bu araştırma, uzaktan eğitimle Arap dili öğretimine olumlu ve olumsuz yansımaları ve bu süreçte neler yapıldığını araştırmaktır. Araştırmanın amacı, uzaktan eğitim sürecinde Youtube'a yüklenen Arapça ders videolarının sistematik bir anlayışla ele alınarak ne ölçüde katkı sağladığını incelenmiştir. Bu yönde Youtube Arapça ders videoları çeşitli değişkenlerle sistematik bir şekilde incelenerek betimsel araştırma yapılmıştır. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman inceleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Analiz edilen ders videoları Youtube'a 15 Şubat 2020 yılında yüklenmeye başlayan ders videolarında Arapça Beyne Yedeyk kitap serisi takip edilmiştir. 254 ders videosunun her biri izlenerek videoların süresi, görüntülenme sayısı gibi bazı açılardan incelemiştir. Ulaşılan sonuçlar amaca uygun olarak tablo haline getirilerek sunulmuştur.

The Coronavirus epidemic, which emerged in Wuhan, China in 2019, spread all over the world in a short time. Due to the coronavirus outbreak, many service sectors have been negatively affected by this situation. With the first Covid case in Turkey, it was reflected in the education sector and the distance education system was switched to primary, secondary and higher education. In order to overcome this process in a healthier way and not to move away from Arabic teaching, they tried to close the course gaps by taking Arabic lessons from other teachers with the distance education model, by taking advantage of the developing technology. This research aims to investigate the positive and negative reflections on teaching Arabic language through distance education and what has been done in this process. The purpose of the research is to examine to what extent the Arabic lesson videos uploaded to YouTube during the distance education process were handled with a systematic understanding and to what extent they contributed. In this direction, a descriptive research was conducted by systematically examining Youtube Arabic lesson videos with various variables. Document review method, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the study. The analyzed lecture videos started to be uploaded to YouTube on February 15, 2020. The Arabic Brain Backup book series was followed. Each of the 254 lesson videos was watched and examined in some aspects such as the duration of the videos and the number of views. The results obtained are presented in a table in accordance with the purpose.
