Oryantalizm ve oksidentalizm'e karşı çıkış: Üçüncü yol

Abstract

Bu çalışmada 1992-1995 yıllarında Bosna-Hersek topraklarında yaşanan savaşın sebepleri üzerine yoğunlaşılmıştır. Oryantalist bir çalışma olarak nitelediğimiz ve Samuel P. Huntıngton tarafından servis edilen Medeniyetler Çatışması makalesinin soğuk savaş sonrası ABD ve Avrupa merkezli dünya sisteminin deklare edilmesi yönündeki katkısı değerlendirilmiştir. SSCB sonrası iki kutuplu dünya düzeninden çok kutuplu-tek merkezli yeni dünya düzenine geçişte Bosna-Hersek'te yaşanan trajedinin bir durak olduğu aktarılmıştır. Ayrıca yaşanan savaşta Osmanlı Devleti hakimiyeti altında barış içinde yaşayan halkların içine düştükleri çatışma, vekalet savaşlarının Bosna topraklarında cereyan etmesi şeklinde de okunmalıdır. Bunun yanında komünizm sonrası demokratikleşme çabalarının öncülerinden Aliya İzzetbegoviç'in devlet kurma yönündeki çabaları SDA örneğiyle açıklanmıştır. İzzetbegoviç'in Doğu Batı Arasında İslam ve İslam Deklarasyonu kitaplarında aktardığı Üçüncü Yol tezi ve felsefi düşünce dünyası irdelenmiştir. Onun bu eserleri ortaya koyabilmesindeki en temel sebep ise, bir yandan batı düşüncesinin güçlü felsefi derinliği ile yoğrulurken, diğer yandan doğu entelektüel birikimini içselleştirmiş olmasıdır. Bu sebeple yaşanan trajediye silahlı ve siyasi çalışmalar eliyle karşı koyabilmişken bir yandan da bu eylemleri ahlaki zeminde yürütebilmiştir.

In this study, the causes of the war in Bosnia-Herzegovina between 1992 and 1995 are examined. The contribution of "the Clash of Civilizations" article, which we describe as an orientalist study transcribed by Samuel P. Huntington, in the declaration of the US-centric and Europe-centric world system after the cold war has been evaluated. The tragedy in Bosnia-Herzegovina is tackled as a stop in the transition from the post-USSR bipolar world order to the multipolar-unicentric new world order. Besides, the conflict turned into the war in this country where the peoples were in peace under the domination of the Ottoman Empire, should be read as the proxy wars in Bosnian territory as well. In addition, the efforts of Aliya Izetbegovic, one of the pioneers of post-communist democratization efforts to establish a state, are explained within the framework of the example of SDA. The Third Way thesis and the world of philosophical thought put forth by İzzetbegovic in his books, Islam and the Islamic Declaration between East and West, were investigated. The main reason to prapare these works by him is that while he was kneaded with the strong philosophical depth of western thought, he internalized the eastern intellectual accumulation at the same time. For this reason, he both was able to resist the tragedy with the help of armed resistance and political works, and was also able to carry out these actions on moral grounds.
