dc.description.abstractIn this study, collected urban soil samples have been collected in different sites of Istanbul. The soil samples have been analyzed and Al, Ca, Mg, K, Zn, Pb, Cu, Ni, Co, Cr, V, Cd, Na levels have been measured. Following the analysis, mathematical approach and statistical modeling have been used in order to assess the levels of heavy metals. Furthermore, new original data concerning the levels of heavy metals have been utilized as well. The collected data have been analyzed by means of correlation-regression, general linear model.
