HIV ile Yaşayan Genç Yetişkinlere Yönelik Baş Etme Becerileri Geliştirme: Sosyal Hizmet Yaklaşımıyla Bir Grup Çalışması Tasarımı

Abstract

Bu çalışma, genç yetişkinlik döneminde HIV ile yaşayan kişilerin yaşadığı çok boyutlu sorunları ele almak ve baş etme becerilerini desteklemeye yönelik örnek bir grup çalışması tasarımı sunmayı amaçlamaktadır. Genç yetişkinlik dönemi, kişilerin sosyal rollerini tanımlama, eğitim hayatını tamamlama, iş yaşamına katılma ve romantik ilişkiler kurma gibi gelişimsel görevlerle karşılaştığı hassas bir evre olup, bu süreçte HIV ile yaşamak kişiler için tıbbi, psikolojik, sosyal ve ekonomik boyutlarıyla özgün bir deneyim oluşturmaktadır. Sunulan grup çalışması; bilgi edinme, duygusal farkındalık geliştirme, sosyal ilişkileri güçlendirme ve sağlıklı yaşam becerilerini destekleme hedefleri doğrultusunda yapılandırılmıştır. Altı oturumdan oluşması planlanan çalışmanın hazırlık süreci; grup yapısı, amacı, süresi, yeri, yönetici özellikleri, üye seçimi ve oturum gündemleri çerçevesinde kuramsal ve saha temelli yaklaşımlar doğrultusunda açıklanmaktadır. Oturum içerikleri, HIV ile yaşayan kişiler için farkındalık, empati, sosyal destek, ilişkiler, sağlıklı yaşam stratejileri ve gelecek perspektifi temaları etrafında şekillenmekte olup, özellikle cinsel sağlık ve üreme sağlığı alanında çalışan sosyal hizmet uzmanlarına uygulanabilir bir örnek model sunmayı hedeflemektedir.

This study aims to address the multidimensional impacts experienced by individuals living with HIV during young adulthood and to present a sample group work design to support their coping skills. Young adulthood is a sensitive developmental stage in which individuals engage in identity formation, define social roles, complete their education, enter the workforce, and establish romantic relationships. Living with HIV during this period constitutes a unique experience with medical, psychological, social, and economic dimensions. The proposed group work is structured around the goals of enhancing knowledge, developing emotional awareness, strengthening social relationships, and supporting healthy life skills. The preparatory phase of the six-session group work is explained through theoretical and field-based approaches within the framework of group structure, purpose, duration, setting, facilitator characteristics, member selection, and session agendas. The session content is shaped around the themes of awareness, empathy, social support, relationships, healthy lifestyle strategies, and future perspectives for individuals living with HIV, aiming to offer an applicable model particularly for social workers working in the field of sexual and reproductive health.
