Sağlık yöneticilerinin sağlık teknolojileri hakkındaki bilgi, algı ve tutumlarının araştırılması: Kalitatif bir araştırma

Abstract

Sağlık teknolojileri, insan sağlığını korumak, tedavi etmek ve sağlık hizmetlerini geliştirmek için bilgisayar ve iletişim teknolojilerinin kullanılmasını ifade eden bir kavramdır. Teknolojinin sağlık disiplinine yeni süreçler kazandırdığı günümüzde, bu değişime adaptasyon sağlamak önem arz etmektedir. Sağlık yöneticilerinin sağlık teknolojileri hakkındaki tutum ve farkındalıkları, bu değişim ve dönüşüm sürecini daha doğru, daha hızlı ve zamanında yapılabilmesi için önemlidir. Bu nedenle araştırmanın konusu sağlık yöneticilerinin sağlık teknolojileri hakkındaki bilgi, algı ve tutumlarını anlayabilmek üzerine kurulmuştur. Araştırma, yöneticilerin sağlık teknolojileri deneyimlerini derinlemesine inceleyebilmek amacıyla nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan, odak gurup ile yüz yüze görüşmeler şeklinde yapıldı. Odak gurup görüşmesi 120 dakika sürdü. Görüşmede yarı yapılandırılmış sorular katılımcılara eşit düzeyde söz hakkı tanınarak soruldu. Görüşmelerdeki ses kayıtları word ortamına aktarıldı. Toplanan verilerden içerik analizi yöntemi ile elde edilen bulgular incelendiğinde, (Sağlık teknolojileri kavramı, Sağlık teknolojilerinin sağlık hizmetlerinde kullanımına yönelik düşünceler, Görev yapılan kurumda kullanılan sağlık teknolojileri, Sağlık hizmetlerinde sağlık teknolojilerinin kullanımına yönelik fırsatlar, zorluklar ve Sağlık teknolojilerinin kullanımına yönelik öneriler) olmak üzere beş ana tema altında toplandı. Çalışmaya katılan sağlık yöneticilerinin sağlık teknolojilerini tanımlama bilgilerinin iyi düzeyde olduğu ve sağlık teknolojileri kullanımına karşı tutumlarının olumlu olduğu gözlemlenmiştir. Katılımcılar sağlık teknolojilerinin teşhis ve tedaviyi kolaylaştırma açısından fırsat olarak değerlendirmişlerdir. Bununla birlikte, yeni sağlık teknolojilerinin kullanımında yetişmiş personel ve yatırım maliyetleri açısından zorluklar olduğunu ifade edilmiş; özellikle sağlık teknolojilerinde son kullanıcı eğitimlerinin önemine vurgu yapılmıştır. Sağlık teknolojilerinin kullanımında yetkinliğin arttırılması, başarılı olarak uygulanabilmesi ve sürdürülebilir bir farkındalık oluşturulması için daha geniş örneklem guruplarında benzer çalışmaların yapılması önerilir.

Health technologies refer to the use of computer and communication technologies to protect and treat human health and improve health services. Today, when technology brings new processes to the health discipline, the importance of adapting to this change is indisputable. Attitudes and awareness of health managers about health technologies are important in order to make this change and transformation process more accurate, faster and on time. For this reason, the research has been determined as understanding the knowledge, perception and attitudes of health managers about health technologies. The research was conducted in the form of face-to-face interviews with a focus group, which is one of the qualitative research methods, in order to examine the health technology experiences of the managers in depth. The focus group interview lasted 120 minutes. In the interview, semi-structured questions were asked by giving the participants an equal right to speak. The audio recordings of the interviews were transferred to the word environment. When the findings obtained by the content analysis method from the collected data are examined, it is seen that there are five: (Health technologies concept, Thoughts on the use of health technologies in health services, Health technologies used in the institution, Opportunities and difficulties for the use of health technologies in health services, and Suggestions for the use of health technologies). gathered under the main theme. It has been observed that the health managers participating in the study have a good level of health technology identification information and have a positive attitude towards the use of health technologies. Participants considered it an opportunity for health technologies to facilitate diagnosis and treatment. However, they stated that there are difficulties in the use of new health technologies in terms of trained personnel and investment costs. They especially emphasized the importance of end-user training in health technologies. It is recommended that these studies be carried out in larger sample groups in order to increase the competence in the use of health technologies, to apply them successfully and to create a sustainable awareness.
