Turuncu Ekonomi ve Slow Food Hareketinin Sürdürülebilir Kalkınmaya Etkisi

Abstract

Sürdürülebilir ve yenilikçi bir gelecek için ekonomik faaliyetlerin neden olduğu etkilerin değerlendirilmesinde renklere göre farklı kategorilere ayıran yaklaşım oldukça yeni gelişmektedir. Bu kapsamda renk kodlu ekonomik sistemler kahverengi, beyaz, yeşil, mavi, mor ve turuncu gibi renklerle belirginleşmektedir. Renk kodlu ekonomilerin sahip oldukları özelliklere göre sürdürülebilir kalkınma hedefleri mevcuttur. Ancak kahverengi ekonomi, fosil yakıtlara dayanan üretim sistemi içinde sosyal ve çevresel sorunların sürdürülebilirlik ve çevresel değerlerin korunması konusuna ters düşmektedir. Oysa diğer renklere sahip kodlanmış ekonomik faaliyetlerin sürdürülebilir kalkınma ile ilişkisi ve kalkınmaya etkisi olumlu şekilde gelişmektedir. Son yıllarda turuncu ekonomiye dahil edilen yaratıcı ve kültürel faaliyetler, büyük ilgi görmüştür. Bu faaliyetlerin, ekonomik büyüme ve sürdürülebilir kalkınmanın itici gücü olarak büyük potansiyele sahip olduğu kabul edilmektedir. Yaratıcı ve kültürel sektörlerin ekonomik, sosyal ve çevresel açıdan sürdürülebilir büyüme yaratma kapasitesi önemlidir. Bu doğrultuda, kültürel mirasımızın önemli bir parçası olan yerel tarımsal ürünler ve geleneksel yemekleri kapsayan slow food hareketi kültürel sürdürülebilirlik açısından önemli bir unsurdur. Yaratıcı ve kültürel faaliyetlerin büyüme ve istihdam yaratma kapasitesinin kabulü, ekonomik politikaların bu alanlarda teşvik edilmesini sağlamıştır. Özellikle çalışma kapsamında yeni gelişen turuncu ekonomi yaklaşımı çerçevesinde slow food hareketinin sürdürülebilir kalkınmaya etkisi değerlendirilmektedir.

The approach of categorizing the effects of economic activities based on different colors is a relatively recent development in the pursuit of a sustainable and innovative future. In this context, color-coded economic systems are distinguished by categories such as brown, white, green, blue, purple, and orange. Each of these color-coded economies aligns with specific sustainable development goals according to their characteristics. However, the brown economy, which relies on fossil fuel-based production, contradicts the goals of sustainability and the preservation of environmental values due to its associated social and environmental challenges. In contrast, other color-coded economic activities exhibit a positive relationship with sustainable development and contribute favorably to progress. In recent years, creative and cultural activities, which fall under the orange economy, have garnered significant attention. These activities are recognized for their substantial potential as drivers of economic growth and sustainable development. The capacity of the creative and cultural sectors to generate sustainable growth from economic, social, and environmental perspectives is particularly significant. In this regard, the slow food movement, which encompasses local agricultural products and traditional dishes as part of our cultural heritage, serves as a key element for cultural sustainability. The recognition of the creative and cultural activities’ capacity to promote growth and employment has led to the implementation of economic policies that support these areas. Specifically, this study analyzes the impact of the slow food movement on sustainable development within the emerging framework of the orange economy approach.
