Configuring Preoperative and Postoperative Care Managements in Screen Based Computer Simülation Based on İnformation Processing Theory

Abstract

Ameliyat öncesi ve sonrası dönemde hastanın tüm sistemlerinin fonksiyonlarını sürdürebilmesi için gerekli tedavi ve bakım desteğinin sağlanması gerekir. Bu yüzden sistemlerin ve ameliyata özgü komplikasyonların değerlendirilmesi ve hemşirelik bakımının planlanması gereklidir. Ameliyat öncesi ve sonrası bakım yönetimi, öğrencilerin öğrendiği bilgileri birleştirerek olguya özel bilgiyi kullanarak yönetmesi gereken karmaşık bir klinik durumdur. Hemşirelik öğrencilerine ameliyat öncesi ve sonrası bakım yönetiminde yeterlilik kazandırmak için bilgi işleme kuramına dayalı bilgisayar destekli simülasyonda eğitim programı geliştirilmiştir. Bilgisayar destekli simülasyon; öğrenme içeriğine istenilen zamanda ve yerde ulaşılabilen, tekrar kullanılabilen ve bireysel öğrenmeye fırsat veren bir yöntemdir. Bu makalede, bilgisayar temelli simülasyonda bilgiyi işleme kuramına dayalı ameliyat öncesi ve sonrası bakım yönetimi eğitiminin yapılandırılması açıklanmıştır.

It is required to provide necessary treatment and care in order to maintain all body functions of patient before and after the surgery. Therefore, all body functions and postoperative complications must be evaluated and nursing care plans must be developed. Preoperative and postoperative care managements are complicated clinical situations where students need to manage by combining all the information they have and using them accordingly. Screen based computer simulation based on information processing theory was developed in order nursing students to gain proficiency in preoperative and postoperative care managements. Computer-based simulation is a method which enables to reach the study content without the restrictions of place and time, use it multiple times and also enables self-learning. In this study, configuring the preoperative and postoperative care managements in screen based computer simulation based on information theory was explained.
