Köstendilli Süleyman Şeyhî'nin Medâr-ı Sâlikân ve Etvâr-ı Hâcegân eserleri (İnceleme ve metin)

Abstract

Tez konumuz "Medâr-ı Sâlikân ve Etvâr-ı Hâcegân", 1750-1820 yılları arasında Bulgaristan'ın Köstendil şehrinde yaşamış Osmanlı mutasavvıfı Süleyman Şeyhî Efendi'ye ait eserlerdir. Süleyman Şeyhî Efendi, sûfîliğinin yanında ilmî ve edebî yönü olup, neredeyse tamamı tasavvufî olan otuzdan fazla eser kaleme almış bir müelliftir. Süleyman Şeyhî Efendi'nin ömrünün âhirinde kaleme almış olduğu Medâr-ı Sâlikân ve Etvâr-ı Hâcegân adlı eserlerini, Nakşibendî tarîkatı büyüklerinden bazılarının eserlerinden istifâdeyle tasavvufî kavramları ele alıp izah ederek tarîkat usûl ve âdâbını anlatmak sûretiyle sâlikler tarafından kolay anlaşılır hâle gelmesi gayesi ile te'lif etmiştir. Biz de Süleyman Şeyhî'nin kendi el yazması olan bu iki eseri, latinize ederek istifâdelere sunmaya gayret ettik. Müellifimizin Medâr-ı Sâlikân eseri; bir giriş, üç bölüm ve bir sonuçtan oluşmaktadır. Tasavvufî konuların derli toplu ve düzenli bir şekilde anlatıldığı bir eserdir. Etvâr-ı Hâcegân'da ise tasavvufa/tarîkata yeni girecek olan sâlikin uyması gereken ön bilgiler bulunmaktadır. Bu yönüyle eser adeta tasavvuf, tarîkat ve Nakşibendîliğin âdâbını anlatan hazırlık kitabı gibidir.

This thesis focuses on "Medâr-ı Sâlikân" and "Etvâr-ı Hâcegân" which are works of Süleyman Şeyhi Efendi. Ottoman Sufi Süleyman Şeyhi Efendi lived in city of Köstendil in Bulgaria between the years 1750-1820. He is an author who has written more than thirty books, almost all of which are Sufi works, and he has scientific and literary aspects besides his Sufi personality. Süleyman Şeyhi Efendi has written Medâr-ı Sâlikân and Etvâr-ı Hâcegân in succession. He wrote these works at the end of his lifetime, by benefiting from the major works of some of prominent Sufi saints in the Naqshbandi Tariqa. By handling and explaining the mystical concepts, Süleyman Şeyhi Efendi's aim, through explaining methods and morals (adab), is making the Sufi concepts easy to understand by the wayfarers (Sâlik). By transcribing into Latin alphabet and making them understandable, we present these two works which are written in Ottoman Turkish and Süleyman Şeyhî's own manuscripts. Şeyhi's work, Medâr-ı Sâlikân consists of introduction, three chapters and a conclusion. It is a work that explains Sufi/mystical issues in a well-coordinated way. The other work Etvâr-ı Hâcegân consists of the preliminary information that must be obeyed by new wayfarers of Sufism (Tasawwuf) / Tariqa. It is, so to say, a preparation book that describes the practices of Sufism, Tariqa and Naqshbandiyya.
