Özet
CAPE has several biological properties, such as antioxidant, antiinflammatory, antimicrobial, antiviral, anticarcinogenic, and neuroprotective properties. This review highlights the therapeutic effects of CAPE according to up-to-date published studies. Although there are many studies about the therapeutic potential of CAPE in vitro and in vivo with minimal adverse reactions, the effects of CAPE have not yet been investigated in humans. Investigating the efficacy of CAPE in clinical trials is important to elucidate its therapeutic potential.
