Asgari ücretle çalışan işçilerin Covid-19’a bağlı yaşadığı sorunlar ve devletin sunduğu çözümler

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Covid-19 sürecinde asgari ücretle çalışan kişilerin yaşadığı sorunları ortaya çıkarmaya çalışmak ve devletin konu ile ilgili sunduğu çözümleri ele almaktır. Bu çalışma, nitel bir yöntemle ele alınmış olup 20 gönüllü katılımcı ile yapılan görüşmelere dayanmaktadır. Erişilen bulgulara içerik analizi ile ele alınmış olup bulguların gerçekliğinin artması için direkt alıntılar yapılmıştır. Yapılan görüşmeler sonucunda katılımcıların Covid-19 sürecinde hem maddi sorunlar hem de aile içi geçimsizlik yaşadığı görülmektedir. Yaşanılan sorunların ise genellikle katılımcılar tarafından halledilmeye çalışıldığı anlaşılmaktadır. Birçoğu devlet yardımlarından faydalanmadığını ve yapılan yardımların yeterli görmediklerini ifade etmiştir. Yardım önerileri ise daha çok nakdi yardım yönünde olduğu gözlemlenmiştir. Asgari ücretle çalışan kişilerin sorunlarına daha fazla eğilmeli ve bu konuda asgari ücretli çalışan kişilerin de talepleri göz önüne alınmalıdır. Ayrıca yapılan yardımların ayrıntıları asgari ücretle çalışan kişilere daha iyi aktarılmalı ve başvuru sonraki aşamaların daha efektif sonuçlar alma yönünde çalışmaların yürütülmesi elde edilen bulgulara göre önem arz etmektedir.

This study aims to reveal the problems experienced by people working for minimum wage during the Covid–19 process and to discuss the solutions offered by the state. This study was executed with a qualitative method based on interviews with 20 volunteer participants. The findings were addressed through content analysis and direct quotations were made to increase the reality of the findings. As a result of the discussions, it is seen that the participants experienced both financial problems and family conflicts during the Covid–19 process. It is understood that the difficulties encountered are generally tried to be solved by the participants. Many of them stated that they did not benefit from state aid and that th found it sufficient. It has been observed that aid offers are mostly mainly directed at cash aid. More attention should be paid to the problems of people working for the minimum wage, and the demands of those working for the minimum wage should also be taken into consideration; the details of the aids should be better conveyed to the people working with the minimum wage, and the following of the application should be carried out to achieve more effective results, according to the findings.
