İskilipli Mehmed Âtıf'ın Muînü't-Talebe isimli eserinin latinizasyonu ve mantık görüşleri

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Osmanlı'dan Cumhuriyet'e geçişin sancılarını yaşamış bir Osmanlı âlimi olan İskilipli Mehmed Âtıf'ın (ö. 1926) mantık görüşleri incelenmiştir. Hayatı boyunca 50 eser yazmayı planlayan ve bu sebeple kendi adına bir kütüphane de kuran İskilipli Mehmed Âtıf, idam edilmesi sebebiyle toplamda 10 eser yazabilmiştir. Çalışmada bu kitaplardan biri olan Muînu't-Talebe adlı talebeler için yazdığı eser çerçevesinde mantık görüşleri ortaya konulmuş ve klasik mantıktan modern mantığa geçişin ayak seslerinin duyulduğu bir dönemde klasik mantığa bakışının fotoğrafı çekilmiştir. Ayrıca Muînu't-Talebe, Latin harflerine aktarılarak eser akademik hayata kazandırılmıştır.

In this study, the logic views of İskilipli Mehmed Âtıf (d. 1926), an Ottoman scholar who experienced the pains of the transition from the Ottoman Empire to the Republic, were examined. Iskilipli Mehmed Âtıf, who planned to write 50 works throughout his life and therefore established a library in his own name, was able to write 10 works in total due to his execution. In the study, one of these books, Muinu't-Talebe, his logic views were revealed within the framework of the work he wrote for students, and his view of classical logic was photographed at a time when the footsteps of the transition from classical logic to modern logic were heard. In addition, Muînu't-Talebe was transferred to Latin letters and the work was brought to academic life.
