Transaksiyonel analiz ve sosyal hizmet bağlamında bir film analizi: evlilik hikâyesi

Abstract

Transaksiyonel Analiz, bireyin içinde bulunduğu duruma ait duygu, düşünce ve davranışların, ebeveyn ve çevre tarafından şekillendirildiğini ve sorunların çevreyle beraber bir dizi deneyimler sonucu meydana geldiğini savunmaktadır. Transaksiyonel Analizin bireyin mevcut yaşamının aksamasına neden olan bu çocukluk deneyimlerinin diğer bir ifade ile yaşam senaryolarının değişiminde yardımcı olma ve kişiler arası problemlere neden olan baskın yapılarını fark edebilmelerini sağlama olarak temelde iki amacı vardır. Yaklaşım temel olarak çocuk ego, ebeveyn ego, yetişkin ego durumu olmak üzere üç ego durumundan bahsetmektedir. Kuramda geçen temel kavramların mikro, mezzo ve makro düzeyde Sosyal Hizmet disiplinine katkı sağladığı ve Sosyal Hizmet uygulama sürecine geniş bir perspektif kazandırdığı bilinmektedir. Çalışmada yer verilen boşanma sürecindeki çiftin ilişkilerini konu alan "Evlilik Hikayesi" isimli filmde çiftlerin başvurdukları ego durumları ve sonucunda oluşan iletişim problemleri ele alınmıştır. Film Eric Berne’nin Transaksiyonel Analiz Yaklaşımı kapsamında ve nitel bir araştırma yöntemi olan doküman analizi yöntemi ile analiz edilmiştir. Filmdeki karakterlerin gösterdikleri tepkiler yaklaşım çerçevesinde incelenmiş ve sosyal hizmet disiplini çerçevesinde değerlendirilmiştir. Bu doğrultuda yapılan çalışma ile Transaksiyonel Analiz Yaklaşımının temel kavramlarına, kullanılan teknik ve yöntemlere yer verilerek yaklaşımın Sosyal Hizmet disiplini bağlamında ele alınması ve ilgili yapılacak olan çalışmalara fayda sağlanabilmesi amaçlanmıştır.

Transactional Analysis argues that the feelings, thoughts and behaviors of the individual's situation are shaped by the parents and the environment, and that the problems occur as a result of a series of experiences with the environment. Transactional Analysis basically has two purposes: helping the individual to change the life scenarios of these childhood experiences, which cause disruption of his/her current life, and enabling them to realize their dominant structures that cause interpersonal problems. The approach basically talks about three ego states: child ego, parent ego, and adult ego state. It is known that the basic concepts in the theory contribute to the Social Work discipline working at micro, mezzo and macro levels and provide a broad perspective in the Social Work practice process. In the movie named "Marriage Story", which is about the relationship of the couple in the divorce process, which is included in the study, the ego states of the couples and the communication problems that occur as a result are discussed. The film was analyzed within the scope of Eric Berne's Transactional Analysis Approach and with the document analysis method, which is a qualitative research method. The reactions of the characters in the movie were examined within the framework of the approach and evaluated within the framework of the social work discipline. With this study, it is aimed that the basic concepts of the Transactional Analysis Approach, the techniques and methods used are included, and that the approach will be discussed in the context of the Social Work discipline and that the relevant studies will be beneficial.
