İlk cinsel ilişki korkusu ve bekaret ile ilgili youtube videolarının DISCERN aracıyla değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Cinselliğin tabu olduğu bazı toplumlarda insanlar cinsel sorunlar kaynaklı stigma yaşama korkusuyla hekime başvurmak yerine ilk çözümü YouTube gibi bilgi videolarının yer aldığı internet sitelerinden arayabilmektedir. YouTube® videoları insanların bilgi almak için internette en yaygın kullandıkları web sitelerinden olup, doğruluğu ve kalitesi hala tartışmalıdır. Bu kapsamda bu çalışma, YouTube'da ilk cinsel ilişki korkusu ve bekaret ile ilgili videoların kalitesini ve doğruluğunu araştırmayı amaçlamaktadır. Araştırmada YouTube® (http://www.youtube.com) arama çubuğuna " ilk cinsel ilişki korkusu, vajinismus, ağrılı cinsel ilişki, kızlık zarı/bekaret” anahtar kelimeleri kullanılarak arama yapılmıştır. Son beş yıla ait (2017-2021) en çok izlenen 75 video analiz edilmiştir. Video popülerliğini için video güç indeksi kullanılmış, DISCERN ve JAMA puanları hesaplanmıştır. Değerlendirilen 75 YouTube® videosunun %68,0'ı kadın doğum uzmanı, %8,0'ı seksolog, %12,0'ı psikolog/psikiyatrist, %6,7'si aile danışmanı ve %5,3’ü internet fenomeni tarafından yüklenmiştir. Araştırmanın DISCERN puan ortalaması 58,0±11,0, VPI ortalaması 97,3±14,8 ve JAMA puan ortalaması 3,2±0,6 olarak saptanmıştır. İlk cinsel ilişki hakkındaki videoların milyonlarca izleyiciye ulaştığı belirlenmiştir. Akademik ve resmi kuruluşlar tarafından hazırlanan video içeriğinin kalitesi artırılarak toplumun ve ailenin cinsel sağlıklarına yönelik farkındalıkları ve cinsel yaşam kaliteleri arttırılabilir.

In some societies where sexuality is taboo, people have sexual problem may seek the first solution from websites such as YouTube where informational videos are available, instead of consulting to a doctor or expert for fear of experiencing stigma. YouTube® videos are one of the most widely used websites on the Internet and their accuracy and quality are still controversial. The aim of this study to assess and validate the features of the most popular YouTube videos on first intercourse. The keywords of current research " Fear of first intercourse vaginismus, painful intercourse, hymen/virginity" was searched in YouTube®. The 75 most watched videos (2017-2021) were analysed. Video power index to report video popularity DISCERN, JAMA scores of the videos were calculated. Results: Of 75 YouTube® videos evaluated according to their source, 68.0% were uploaded by obstetricians, 8.0% by sexologists, 12.0% by psychologists/psychiatrists, 6.7% by family counsellors, and 5.3% by internet phenomenon. The videos were viewed 2,186,627 times. The mean of DISCERN score of was found 58.0±11.0, VPI score was 97,3±14,8, the mean of JAMA score was 3.2±0.6. It can be stated that the videos about vaginismus, fear of first intercourse, painful intercourse and hymen/virginity viewed by millions. The awareness of the society and the family about their sexual health and the quality of their sexual life can be increased by increasing the quality of the video content prepared by academic and official institutions.
