Bir ortaokul özelinde okul sosyal hizmeti ihtiyacının belirlenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışma ile dezavantajlı bölgede bulunan bir ortaokul özelinde okul sosyal hiz-meti ihtiyacının belirlenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Çalışmanın arka planında, “okul sosyal hizmeti” sisteminin ülkemizde uygulanmasına yönelik bir model oluşturul-ması amacıyla tasarlanan bir pilot uygulama projesi bulunmaktadır. Araştırmanın çalışma evreni, İstanbul’da bir İlçe Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü tarafından önerilen 1500 mevcutlu bir ortaokul; çalışma örneklemi ise, okul idarecileri tarafından en fazla sorun yaşandığı belirtilen 7. sınıf düzeyindeki 359 öğrencidir.Araştırmanın verileri, araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen ve proje sırasında öğrencilerin ev zi-yaretlerinde uygulamış oldukları aile bilgi anketi ile toplanmıştır. Betimsel analiz yöntemi ile çözümlenen anket verileri, okul sosyal hizmetinin, ülkemizde özellikle dezavantajlı bölgelerden olmak üzere acilen başlatılması gerektiğini göstermekte-dir.

The purpose of this study is to determine the need for school social services in a secondary school in disadvantaged areas. In the background of the work, there is a pilot project designed to create a model for the implementation of the "school so-cial service" system in our country. The population of the study is located a secon-dary school of 1500 which is recommended by a National Education Directorate in a country of Istanbul; The study sample is 359 students in the 7th grade level, who are said to have the most problems by their school administrators. The data of the study were collected through a family information survey developed by the rese-archers and implemented during the visit by the students during the project. Survey data analyzed by descriptive analysis show that school social service should be ini-tiated urgently in our country especially in disadvantaged regions.
