Ekonomik Şiddetin Toplumsal Yansımalarına Türk Sinemasından Bakış: Nefesim Kesilene Kadar Örneği

Abstract

Bireyin gördüğü her türlü zarar, şiddet kapsamına girmektedir. Bu nedenle şiddet tanımlamalarında bir kategorizasyona giderek sorunu farklı yönleriyle ele almak hem tanımlama hem de çözüm üretme açısından kolaylık sağlamaktadır. Şiddet türleri içerisinde diğer şiddet türlerine göre daha az dile getirilen, ancak etkileri itibariyle yayılımı daha fazla olan ekonomik şiddet ise kişinin ekonomik imkânlarını başkasına karşı bir tehdit ve kontrol aracı olarak kullanması durumudur. Ekonomik şiddet bu çalışmada Türk Sineması’ndan Nefesim Kesilene Kadar filmi ile incelenmiş ve yöntem olarak da nitel analiz yöntemlerinden betimsel analiz yöntemi tercih edilmiştir. Çalışmada, film üzerinden ekonomik şiddetin aile içinden topluma uzanan etkileri ve olası sonuçları değerlendirilmiştir.

Any kind of harm suffered by an individual is within the scope of violence. For this reason, categorizing the definitions of violence and addressing the problem from different aspects provides convenience in terms of both definition and solution. Economic violence, which is less pronounced than other types of violence, but has a greater spread in terms of its effects, is the use of one’s economic opportunities as a threat and control tool against others. In this study, economic violence was examined with the movie “Nefesim Kesilene Kadar” from Turkish Cinema and descriptive analysis method, one of the qualitative analysis methods, was preferred as a method. In the study, the effects and possible consequences of economic violence extending from family to society were evaluated.
