Bilimsel araştırmalarda etik dışı davranışların nedenleri ve çözüm önerileri

Abstract

Bilim bilinmeyene ulaşma arzusu ile ortaya çıkmaktadır. Bilgiye ulaşmayı gerçekleştiren bilim insanı ve sahip olduğu özellikler bilimsel süreç için önem arz etmektedir. Bilim insanın sahip olduğu bu özellikler bilimsel araştırma sürecini etkilemekte olup araştırma verilerine ve sonuçlarına yansımaktadır. Bu bakımdan bilim insanın hem bireysel olarak hem de araştırma sürecinde etik değerlere sahip olması gerekmektedir. Bu değerler bilimsel araştırmalarda bilim etiği kuralları olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Bu çalışma bilimsel makalelerin oluşturulması, gözden geçirilmesi ve yayınlanması sırasında karşılaşılan etik dışı davranış türlerini ve nedenlerini irdelemektedir. Çalışmada bilim ve bilimin önemi ele alınarak bilim insanının sahip olması gereken özellikler belirtilmektedir. Bilim ve etik arasındaki ilişki irdelenerek bilim etiği hakkında bilgi verilmektedir. Bilimsel araştırma sürecinde bilim etiğine aykırı olan etik dışı davranış türleri ve nedenleri belirtilerek çözüm önerileri getirilmeye çalışılmıştır.

Science emerges with the desire to reach the unknown. The scientist who performs access to information and his characteristics are important for the scientific process. These characteristics of scientists affect the scientific research process and are reflected in research data and results. In this respect, scientists should have ethical values both individually and in the research process. These values are defined as scientific ethics rules in scientific research. This study examines the types of unethical behavior encountered during the creation, review and publication of scientific articles and their reasons. Taking the importance of science and science into consideration in the study, the characteristics that a scientist should have are specified. By examining the relationship between science and ethics, information about science ethics is given. In the scientific research process, the types of unethical behaviors that are against scientific ethics and their reasons were specified and solutions were tried to be offered.
