Asr-ı Saadet'te okçuluk

Abstract

İnsanlık tarihinin en eski ve en uzun süre kullanılan icatlarından birisi olan ok ve yay her medeniyet veya kavimde farklı kültürel değerlere sahip olmuş ona farklı bir anlam yüklenmiştir. Okçuluk, Hz. Âdem (a.s) ile başlayarak Hz. Muhammed'e (s.a.v) kadar varlığını devam ettirmiş ve Hz. Muhammed'in (s.a.v) teşvikleri ile asırlar boyu önemini kaybetmeden günümüze kadar varlığını sürdürmüştür. Savaşta savunma silahı, doğada beslenmek için av aleti ve sağlık için spor çeşidi olan okçuluk İslam tarihinde de önemli bir yere sahip olmuştur. Asr-ı Saadet döneminde başta Hz. Muhammed (s.a.v) olmak üzere birçok sahabe bu spor ile ilgilenmiş ve nesilden nesile aktarılması için çaba sarf etmişlerdir. Çalışmanın amacı İslam tarihinin başlangıcı olan Asr-ı Saadet döneminde gerek savunma ve gerekse sağlık açısından büyük bir önem arz eden okçuluğun yeri, okçuluk ile uğraşmış, okçulukla meşhur olmuş sahabelerin tespiti ve bu sahabelerin hayatlarının incelenmesidir. Çalışmamızda önce dünya okçuluk tarihi ile ilgili genel bilgiler verilmiştir. Daha sonra çalışmanın asıl konusu olan Asr-ı Saadet döneminde okçuluğun önemi ile ilgili bilgiler yer almıştır. Son bölümde ise Asr-ı Saadet döneminde okçuluk ile ilgilenmiş sahabeler tespit edilip hayatları hakkında bilgi verilmiştir.

The bow and arrow, which are one of the oldest and longest-used inventions in human history, had different cultural values in every civilization or tribe and has been given a different meaning. Archery continued its existence from prophet Adam (pbuh) to prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and continued its existence until today without losing its importance for centuries with the encouragement of prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Archery, which is a defensive weapon in war, a hunting tool for feeding in nature and a sport for health, has also had an important place in the history of Islam. During the Age of Happiness, many Companions, especially prophet Muhammad himself (pbuh), were interested in this sport and made efforts to transfer it from generation to generation. The main purpose of the study is to determine the place of archery, which is of great importance in terms of both defense and health in the Age of Happiness, from the beginning of Islamic history, to determine the famous Companions who were engaged in archery, and to examine the lives of these Companions. In our study, firstly, general information about the world archery history is given. Later, information about the importance of archery in the Age of Saadet period, which is the main subject of the study, was included. In the last part, the Companions who were interested in archery during the Age of Bliss were identified and information was given about their lives.
