Abstract

Bu araştırmada İmam İBNÜ'l-CEVZÎ 'nin, Cenabı Hakk'ın sıfatlarını içeren sıfatlarla ilgili ayet ve hadisleri ele alışındaki yaklaşımı ortaya konulmaktadır. Yaklaşımında iki yol izledi: TE'VİL (yorumlama) ve TEFVÎZ ( teslimiyet ve Allaha bırakmak) Kuran'da ve sahih sünnette anlatılanları dikkate alarak. Onun yaklaşımı, inançların tesis edilmesinde ve sıfatların ispatında, sahih rivayetlerle bize iletilen Kuran ve Sünnetin ispatladığı kesin, kanıtlanmış ve kesin deliller sunması ile farklılaştı. Ne metninde ne de rivayet zincirinde hiçbir noksanlık ve iftira bulunmadığı gibi, sıfatların belirtilmesinde de zayıf, uydurma veya Ehli Kitap'tan nakledilmiş hadisleri kabul etmemiştir. Bir sıfatın tasdiki veya inkarına karar vermeden ve ayetleri ayetlerden ayırmadan önce, Kuran'da veya Peygamber Efendimiz (s.a.v.)'in dilindeki konuşmanın tam ve kapsamlı bir şekilde anlaşılmasını istedi. This thesis presents the approach and method of Imam Ibn al-Jawzi, may Allah Almighty have mercy on him, in his dealings with the verses and hadiths about the attributes of Allah Almighty. In his approach, he used both interpretation and delegation, while proving what was stated in the Qur'an and the authentic Sunnah. What set his approach apart was presenting definitive, decisive texts, in stating the beliefs and proving the attributes, which are proven by the Qur'an and the Sunnah transmitted to us through authentic chains of transmission, there is no defect or misinformation in its text or its chains of transmission, and he did not accept weak hadiths, or fabricated ones, or those transmitted from the People of the Book, in stating the attributes. He urged for comprehensiveness and thoroughness in understanding the speech found in the Qur'an or on the tongue of the Prophet, may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him, before issuing a ruling to affirm or deny an attribute, He also urged against removing verses from their original contexts, as this can lead to misunderstandings the verse and its meaning and what it is intended for. He emphasized that the Arabs were being addressed by the Noble Qur'an using their understanding of the visible senses, which did not correspond to their reality in relation to Allah the Almighty. Rather, the legislator's intention was to demonstrate and prove the existence of a God who is worshiped. When the words of proof inherited a kind of simile, verses were revealed with the transcendence of Allah Almighty from similes, as the Almighty said: "There is nothing like Him, for He ˹alone˺ is the All-Hearing, All-Seeing.." He denied all kinds of simile and anthropomorphism that may sprang to mind. He addressed and responded to three of the Hanbalis, namely Al-Qadi Abu Ya'la, Abu Abdullah bin Hamid, and Abu Al-Hasan Al-Zaghuni, who went to great lengths and considerable efforts to substantiate the attributes with single narrations, weak hadiths, and those narrated from the People of the Book. He denied that this was the approach of Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal, may Allah Almighty have mercy on him, and he disclaimed any analogies and anthropomorphisms from Imam Ahmad's approach. He spared no effort in proclaiming the truth and defending the doctrine Ahl al-Sunnah, despite the hardships and tribulations that he went through in his life. May Allah have mercy on him and grant him a place in His spacious gardens.
