Mustafa Kutlu'nun hikayelerinin değerler açısından incelenmesi

Abstract

Değerler, dünya tarihi boyunca bireylere ve toplumlara amaç ve yön tayin eden temel olgulardır. Değerlerin benimsenmesi ve gelecek kuşaklara aktarılması; toplumların varlıklarını koruyabilmeleri ve gelişebilmeleri için büyük bir öneme sahiptir. Her dönemde değerlerin aktarımı toplumlar için önem arz etmiş ancak günümüzde modernizm ve değişen dünya koşulları ile birlikte değerler eğitimi öncelikli konulardan biri haline gelmiştir. Toplumların ortak değerlerinin aktarılmasında değişik zaman dilimlerinde ve coğrafyalarda birbirinden farklı metotlar izlenmiştir. Bu metotların en önemlilerinden biri değerler eğitiminde hikâyelerin kullanımıdır. Bu araştırma ile 1970 yılından bu yana birçok eser kaleme alan ve hikâyeleriyle Türk Edebiyatı'nın seçkin isimlerinden biri olan Mustafa Kutlu'nun hikâyelerinin değerler açısından incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Bu çalışma Mustafa Kutlu'nun 1970-2017 yılları arasında kaleme aldığı yirmi beş hikâyeyi kapsamaktadır. Kutlu'ya ait belirlenen hikâyeler değerler eğitimi bağlamında içerik çözümlemesine tabi tutulmuştur. 'Allah'a Bağlılık', 'Adalet', 'Azim', 'Alçakgönüllülük', 'Sevgi', 'Saygı', 'Cesaret', 'Doğruluk', 'Empati', 'Fedakârlık', 'Hayırseverlik', 'Hoşgörü', 'Cömertlik', 'İyilik', 'Merhamet', 'Misafirperverlik', 'Vatanseverlik', 'Sabır', 'Ümit' 'Şükür' olarak yirmi temel değer belirlenerek incelenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre, Kutlu'nun eserleri milli, manevi, toplumsal değerler açısından çok zengin bir içeriğe sahiptir. Kutlu'nun hikâyelerinde değerler bazen doğrudan bazen örtük bir şekilde işlenmiştir. Hikâyelerin tamamında yüz doksan değer vurgusuna ulaşılmıştır. En fazla atıf yapılan değerlerin 'Allah'a Bağlılık' ve 'Hayırseverlik' olduğu ayrıca değerlerin en yoğun olarak işlendiği eserin 'Tarla Kuşunun Sesi' isimli eser olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

Values have been the basic facts that determine the purpose and direction of individuals and societies throughout the history of the world. Adoption of values and transferring them to future generations is of great importance for societies in order to protect their existence and development. The transfer of values has always been important for societies, but today, with modernism and changing world conditions, values education has become one of the most prominent issues. In different time periods and geographies, different methods have been used for conveying the common values of societies to next generations. One of the most important of these methods is the use of stories in values education. With this research, it is aimed to examine the stories of Mustafa Kutlu, who has written many works since 1970 and is one of the distinguished names of Turkish Literature with his stories, in terms of values. Document analysis method, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the research. The scope of the study consists of twenty-five stories written by Mustafa Kutlu between 1970-2017. The stories chosen for the study were subjected to content analysis in the context of values education. 'Devotion to God', 'Justice', 'Perseverance', 'Humility', 'Love', 'Respect', 'Courage', 'Truthfulness', 'Empathy', 'Sacrifice', 'Benevolence', 'Tolerance' Twenty basic values with the titles of 'Greendom', 'Goodness', 'Compassion', 'Hospitality', 'Patience', 'Gratitude', 'Hope', 'Patriotism' were identified and analyzed and interpreted by quoting from the works. According to the findings, Kutlu's works have a very rich content in terms of national, spiritual and social values. In Kutlu's stories, values are sometimes treated directly and sometimes implicitly. One hundred and ninety value emphases were reached in all of the stories. It has been determined that the most cited values are 'Devotion to God' and 'Benevolence', and the work in which the values are most intensely processed is the work called 'Tarla Kuşunun Sesi' (The Voice of the Field Bird).
