Öğretmen ve öğretmen adaylarının sorgulama becerileri ile ilgili tezlerin incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, eğitim kurumlarında öğretmenler, öğretmen adaylarının yer aldığı ve sorgulama becerilerinin araştırıldığı tezlerin incelenmesidir. Nitel araştırma desenlerinden olan doküman analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. YÖK TEZ (Yüksek Öğretim Kurulu Başkanlığı Tez Merkezi) veri tabanından “Sorgulama Becerileri” anahtar kelimesi ile taratılarak 49 teze ulaşılmış ve 2010-2021 yılları arasındaki tezlerden öğretmen ve öğretmen adaylarının sorgulama becerilerini inceleyen 12 tez seçilmiştir. Tezler; tez türü, yayınlanma yılları, enstitüsü, araştırma yaklaşımı, danışman unvanı ve anahtar kelimelere göre incelenmiş, toplanan veriler frekans(f) ve yüzde (%) değerleri ile analiz edilmiştir. Seçilen tezler incelendiğinde öğretmenlerin sorgulama becerileri üzerine yüksek lisans alanındaki çalışmaların doktora alanındaki çalışmalardan fazla olduğu, tezlerin yayın yıllarına bakıldığında ise 2019 yılında çalışma sayısının daha fazla olduğu görülmüştür. Bu alandaki çalışmaların Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsünde yoğunlaştığı ve tezlerin araştırma yaklaşımları incelendiğinde nicel çalışma sayısının, nitel ve karma çalışma sayısında fazla olduğu fark edilmiştir. Tez danışmanlarından Doç. Dr. unvanının tezleri daha fazla yönettiği bilgisine varılmıştır. Kullanılan anahtar kelimeler, kelime bulutuyla gösterilmiştir.

This study aims to examine the theses about teachers’ questioning skills working in schools and reflect the findings of the studies. Document analysis was used as the method of the research. Document analysis, one of the qualitative research models, aims to answer the research problem by examining existing documents and documents. Within the criteria framework determined to collect data during the document analysis process, a search was made from the Thesis Center of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK TEZ) database with the keywords “Inquiry Skills.” As a result of the scanning, 49 theses made between 2010-2021 related to “Inquiry Skills” were reached from the YÖK TEZ database. After the detailed examination of the theses reached, 12 theses examining the questioning skills of teachers and prospective teachers were selected according to the criteria. The theses were examined according to the type of thesis, year of publication, institute, research approach, the title of advisor, and keywords, and the collected data were frequency(f) and percentage(%). When 12 theses selected between the years 20102021 were examined, it was determined that the theses on the inquiry skills of teachers were mostly master’s theses. Doctoral studies are fewer in number than master’s theses. After examining the publication years of the theses, it was seen that the number of studies was higher in 2019. When the studies in this field were concentrated in the Institute of Science, and the research approaches of the theses were examined, it was found that the number of quantitative studies outweighed the qualitative and mixed studies. In this study, which examines the theses written on teachers’ inquiry skills, the most common title of the thesis’s advisors was Assoc. Prof. The keywords used in the theses were examined in the concept map, and the most used words were determined and placed by increasing their size according to the number.
