Necmeddîn et-Tûfî’nin el-İşârâtü’l-ilâhiyye ile’l-mebâhisi’l-usûliyye Adlı Eserindeki Metodu

Abstract

Bu makalede Necmeddîn et-Tûfî’nin (öl. 716/1316) el-İşârâtü’l-ilâhiyye ile’l-me- bâhisi’l-usûliyye’sindeki metodu konu edilmiştir. Söz konusu amacı gerçekleşti- rebilmek için eserden dört örnek seçilmiştir. Bunlar; usule değinmeksizin âyetten anlaşılan manayı zikretme, âyetin izahında hadise ve bağlama yer verme, içtihat ve müellifin usûl-i dînin büyük kaidesi olarak nitelendirdiği kaderdir. Böyle bir tercihin aslî ve tâlî nedenleri vardır. Eserin kaleme alınmasında müellifin dile getirdiği usul temelli gerekçeyi çalışmaya yansıtabilmek, çalışmanın asıl ama- cıdır. Bu ise lehte ve aleyhteki delilleri gerekçeleri ile ortaya koymayı zorunlu kılmaktadır. Nitel araştırma veri analiz yönteminin kullanıldığı makalede şu bulgulara ulaşılmıştır: Tûfî’nin beyanına göre usûl-i dinin büyük kaidesi kader, usûl-i fıkhın ise umum ve husustur. Kur’an’ı baştan sona bu iki kaideyi gözete- rek izah etme sözüne müellif, eserin sonuna kadar sadık kalmış; ancak her bir âyeti açıklamış değildir. el-İşârât’ın bir tefsir mi yoksa ulûmü’l-Kur’ân’a dair bir eser mi olduğu, onu değerlendirenin bakış açısına göre değişmektedir; çün- kü bu, tefsir ve ulûmü’l-Kur’ân tabirlerinin tanımlarıyla alakalıdır. Her ikisine ihtimali olmakla birlikte son tahlilde tefsir olduğu fikri daha ağır basmaktadır.

In this article, Najm al-Dīn al-Ṭūfī’s method (d. 716/1316) in his work called al-Ishārāt al-ilāhiyyah is discussed. In order to achieve this aim, four topics from the work are selected as samples. These are, mentioning the meaning un- derstood from the verse without mentioning the method, including the incident and context in the explanation of the verse, ijtihad, and fate which the author describes as the great rule of the uṣūl al-dīn. There are primary and secondary reasons for making such a choice. The main purpose of the study is to reflect the uṣūl-based justification expressed by the author in writing the work. This necessitates presenting the evidence for and against the justifications. In the article, where qualitative research data analysis method is used, the following findings are reached: According to Ṭūfī’s statement, the main principle of the method of uṣūl al-dīn is fate, and the method of fiqh is umūm-khuṣūṣ. The author remained faithful to his promise to explain the Qur’ān from beginning to end by taking these two principles into consideration until the end of the work; but he hasn’t explained every verse. However, in the final analysis, it was concluded that al-Ishārāt is a commentary.
