Öğretmen adaylarının öğretim teknolojisi ve materyal tasarımı dersine yönelik tutumlarının incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı öğretmen adaylarının öğretim teknolojisi ve materyal tasarımı dersine yönelik tutumlarının ne düzeyde olduğu ve çeşitli değişkenlere göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığını incelemektir. Araştırmanın evrenini İstanbul ilindeki üniversitelerde Eğitim Fakültesinde öğrenim gören Öğretim Teknolojisi ve Materyal Tasarımı dersini almış olan öğretmen adayları ve pedagojik formasyon eğitimi alan öğretmen adayları oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini ise İstanbul ilindeki bir devlet ve bir vakıf üniversitesinde Eğitim Fakültesinde öğrenim gören Öğretim Teknolojisi ve Materyal Tasarımı dersini almış olan 183 öğretmen adayı ve 237 pedagojik formasyon eğitimi alan öğretmen adayı olmak üzere toplamda 420 öğretmen adayı oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada betimsel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada “Öğretim Teknolojileri ve Materyal Tasarımı Dersine Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde aritmetik ortalama, yüzde, frekans, Mann Whitney U Testi ve Kruskall Wallis H Testi uygulanmıştır. Veri analizi sonucunda öğretmen adaylarının öğretim teknolojileri ve materyal tasarımı dersine yönelik tutumlarının hoşlanma ve yadsıma alt boyutlarında orta düzeyde, yararlılık alt boyutunda ve toplam ortalamalarına göre yüksek düzeyde olduğu görülmüştür. Öğretmen adaylarının öğretim teknolojileri ve materyal tasarımı dersine yönelik tutumları cinsiyet, öğrenim gördüğü sınıf ve medeni durum değişkenine göre anlamlı bir farklılık göstermezken; öğrenim gördüğü bölüm, yaş ve materyal tasarlarken zevk alma durumu değişkenlerine göre istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı bir farklılık göstermektedir.

The purpose of this study is to examine the level of attitudes of teacher candidates towards instructional technology and material design course and whether they differ according to various variables. The researche universe consists of teacher candidates who have taken the course of Instructional Technology and Material Design, who are studying at the Education Faculties in universities in Istanbul, and teacher candidates who are trained in pedagogical formation. The sample of the research consists of a total of 420 teacher candidates , including 183 teacher candidates and 237 pedagogical training students who have taken a course in Instructional Technology and Material Design at a faculty of education in a state and a foundation university in Istanbul. Descriptive scanning model was used in the study. "Attitude Scale Towards Instructional Technology and Material Design Course" was used in the research. Arithmetic mean, percentage, frequency, Mann Whitney U Test and Kruskall Wallis H Test were applied in the analysis of the data. As a result of the data analysis, it was observed that the teacher candidates’ attitudes towards instructional technologies and material design course were moderate in the enjoyment and denial subscales, higher in the subscale of utility and overall average. While the attitudes of the teacher candidates towards the instructional technologies and material design course do not show any significant difference according to variables of the gender, the class they studied and marital status; it shows a significant difference according to variables of the department of which he/she studies, age and pleasure state when he/she designs material.
