COVİD-19 pandemi sürecinde uygulanan uzaktan eğitime ilişkin ortaokul öğrencilerinin görüşlerinin değerlendirilmesi: Yalova ili Altınova ilçesi örneği

Abstract

Dünyanın tüm ülkelerini etkisi altına alan Covid-19 Pandemi süreci günümüzde de halen devam etmektedir. Bu süreç boyunca eğitim öğretime ara verilmiş ve uzaktan eğitim platformları ve EBA TV canlı ders kanalları ile sürdürülmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu çalışmada ortaokul öğrencilerinin pandemi sürecinde uygulanan uzaktan eğitime ilişkin görüşlerinin değerlendirmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırmada nicel yöntem kullanılmıştır. Araştırma betimsel tarama ile tasarlanmıştır. Araştırmanın evreni Yalova ili Altınova ilçesindeki devlet okullarındaki tüm ortaokul öğrencilerinden oluşmaktadır. Bu kapsamda çalışma grubu Altınova ilçesinde bulunan 9 resmi devlet ortaokulunda bulunan 334 öğrencidir. Araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan öğrenci bilgi formu ve "Ortaokul Öğrencileri Uzaktan Eğitim Algıları Ölçeği", elektronik ortam üzerinden online olarak uygulanmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre öğrencilerin demografik bilgilerinden olan cinsiyet, evin bulunduğu konum ve sınıf düzeyi ile uzaktan eğitime ilişkin görüşler arasında anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Buna karşın yaş, kardeş sayısı ve uzaktan eğitime bağlanılabilecek araç sayısı ile uzaktan eğitime ilişkin görüşleri arasında anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

The Covid-19 Pandemic process, which affects all countries of the world, still continues today. During this process, education was suspended and efforts were made to continue with distance education platforms and EBA TV live course channels. In this study, it is aimed to evaluate the opinions of secondary school students about distance education applied during the pandemic process. Quantitative method was used in the research. The research was designed with descriptive survey model. The universe of the research consists of all secondary school students in public schools in Altınova district of Yalova province. In this context, the study group consists of 334 students in 9 official public secondary schools in Altınova district. The student information form prepared by the researcher and "Secondary School Students' Distance Learning Perceptions Scale" were applied online via electronic media. According to the results of the research, it has been determined that there is no significant difference between the demographic information of the students, such as gender, the location of the house and the class level, and the views on distance education. On the other hand, it has been determined that there is a significant difference between the age, the number of siblings and the number of vehicles that can be connected to distance education and their views on distance education.
