Ergenlerde oyun bağımlılığı ve saldırgan davranışlar arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın konusu, ergen bireylerdeki oyun bağımlılığının saldırgan davranışlar üzerinde etkisinin olup olmadığı, varsa ilişki ve derecesini araştırmaktır. Araştırmada cinsiyet, başarı durumu, sınıf düzeyi, kardeş sayısı ve sırası, anne ve baba eğitim düzeyi, aile gelir düzeyi vb. demografik değişkenlere göre inceleme yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, İstanbul ili Eyüpsultan ilçesinde ortaokul ve lise kademesinde 8., 9., 10., 11., 12. sınıf seviyesinde öğrenim gören tesadüfi örneklem yöntemiyle belirlenen 546 erkek ve kadın cinsiyete sahip ergen öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak, demografik bilgileri elde etmek için araştırmacı tarafından oluşturulmuş Sosyo-Demografik Bilgi Formu, Oyun Bağımlılığı Ölçeği, Buss-Perry Saldırganlık Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde betimsel istatistiklere bakılmış, verilerin normal dağıldığı gözlemlenmiş, analizlerde parametrik istatistiksel teknikler kullanılmıştır. Değişkenlere göre puanların karşılaştırılmasında bağımsız örneklem t testi, ANOVA testi ve regresyon analizleri yapılmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda oyun bağımlılığı ve saldırganlık arasında ilişkilerin bulunduğu ve çeşitli değişkenler tarafından etkilendiği bulgularına ulaşılmıştır. Oyun bağımlılığı ve saldırgan davranışlar arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı bir ilişki saptanmıştır.

The subject of this research is to study whether or not the game addiction on adolescents has an effect on aggressive behaviors, and the relationship and degree of it, if any. Research was conducted according to demographic variables such as gender, success status, grade level, number and order of siblings, education level of parents, family income level, etc. The study group of the research consists of 546 male and female adolescent students, who were determined by the random sampling method studying at the 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade levels in the secondary and high school levels in the Eyüpsultan district of Istanbul. As a data collection tool, the Socio-Demographic Information Form created by the researcher to obtain demographic information, the Game Addiction Scale, the Buss- Perry Aggression Scale were used. In the analysis of the data, descriptive statistics were examined, it was observed that the data were distributed normally, and parametric statistical techniques were used in the analyzes. Independent sample t- test, ANOVA test, and regression analyzes were performed to compare the scores according to the variables. As a result of the analyzes, it was found that there is a relationship between game addiction and aggression and that it is affected by various variables. A positive and significant relationship was found between game addiction and aggressive behaviors.
