Mahmutbey gişelerinde trafik sorunları ve çözümleri

Abstract

Günümüzde kentlerdeki nüfus ve araç sayısının yükselen ivmeye sahip olması beraberinde ulaşım sorunlarını getirmektedir. Bu çalışmada ulaşım sorunlarını güncel verilerle ortaya koymaya, bu bağlamda çözüm önerileri sunmaya çalışılmıştır. Planlı bir yönetişim* deyince akla ilk gelenlerden olan Beyaz Kitap** bu çalışmanın ana taslağını oluşturmaktadır. Beyaz Kitap'ın amacı "Ortak Ulaştırma Politikası" oluşturarak, sürdürülebilir ulaşım sayesinde entegrasyonunu sağlayacaktır. Sürdürülebilir ulaşım, özel araç kullanımı yerine entegre olmuş ulaşım sistemlerini kullanmayı hedefleyen; bisiklet, otobüs, tramvay, metro, metrobüs ve vapur gibi ulaşım araçlarının tamamını birliğin parçaları olarak gören proje ve politikalardır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, sürdürülebilir insan odaklı entegre ulaşım sistemi ile Mahmutbey gişelerinde ulaşım sorunlarını çözüme ulaştırmayı hedeflenmektedir. Bu çalışmanın giriş kısmında, tezin içeriğinden bahsedilmiştir. Bu çalışmanın ikinci kısmında, Kent kavramı ve ulaşım terimlerinin tanımı yapılıp, ulaşım türleri üzerinde durulmuştur. Bu çalışmanın üçüncü kısmında, Beyaz Kitap (White Paper) irdelenmiş olup, Avrupa Birliği'nin taşımacılıktaki 2050 hedeflerine değinilmiştir. Bu çalışmanın dördüncü kısmında, Sürdürülebilir Ulaşım kavramına değinilmiştir. Bu çalışmanın beşinci kısmında, Gelişmiş Büyükşehirlerde ulaşım yöntemleri; Tokyo ve Paris örnekleriyle anlatılmıştır. Bu çalışmanın altıncı kısmında, İstanbul'un kent içi ulaşımına dair mevcut durum analizleri tablo ve grafiklerle desteklenerek anlatılmıştır. Bu çalışmanın yedinci kısmında, Mahmutbey gişelerinde trafik sorunları tek tek ele alınıp çözüm önerileri getirilmiştir.

Today, having a high potential of population and number of vehicles come out the problems in transportation. In terms of these problems are neededto be solved. Therefore, I provide solutions for this problems in my work with putting up current data about transport problems. The White Paper comes to mind as a first object in planned governance. That is the reason my work is based on White Paper as a main draft. The purpose of the White Paper "Common Transport Policy" is used to create and to enable the integration of transport in sustainable development. Sustainable transport means using the public transport systemwhich is integrated by each component by people instead of private cars. Public transportation system includes bicycle, bus, tram, metro, ferry projects, Metrobus and developed policies. In this work, my purpose is delivering the solutions of Mahmutbey – one of the biggest heavy traffic joint in Istanbul- traffic problem. The solution is related with sustainable integrated public transportation. In introduction section, contents of the thesis is given. In the second section of my thesis, definition about the concept of urban and transportation terms are given andalso focused on the types of transportation. White Paper (White Paper) is validated, and the European Union's 2050 targets is addressed in the third part of my thesis. Sustainable Transport is discussed in the fourth section. It is explained advanced metropolitan transportation methods with examples Tokyo and Paris in the fifth part of my work. In the sixth part of my work, described existing urban transport analysis and supported by tables and graphs. In the last part of thesis, tollbooth traffic problems has been handled by individual solutions in Mahmutbey.
