Dini Sosyal Kimliğin İnşası: İsmailağa Cemaati Örneği

Abstract

Bir toplumu anlamanın en önemli yönlerinden biri, o toplumu meydana getiren unsurların iyi bilinmesinden geçmektedir. Bu unsurların başında ise din önemli bir boyuta sahiptir. Dini uygulama alanlarının daha iyi bir şekilde icra edilmesi cemaatler vasıtası ile gerçekleşmektedir. Cemaatlerin karakteristik yapılarının bilinmesi, sosyal alanda oluşturduğu kimliğin, genel dini yapının anlaşılmasını sağlayacağı gibi içinde bulunduğu toplumun anlaşılmasını da kolaylaştıracaktır. Bu bağlamdan hareketle Türk toplumunun en önemli boyutlarından biri de dindir. Toplum içinde dini cemaatlerin çok önemli anlamları ve fonksiyonları vardır. Tarikat ve cemaatlerin kendi kurumsal yapıları bağlamında müridleri üzerinde dini sosyal kimlik inşa ettikleri görülür. Türkiye’de önemli bir yeri olan İsmailağa Cemaati’nin, müridleri üzerinde nasıl bir dini sosyal kimlik inşa ettiği konusunda yeterli bir bilgiye rastlanmamıştır. Bu çalışmada, İsmailağa Cemaati’nin müridleri üzerinde nasıl bir kimlik inşa ettiği belirlemeye çalışılmıştır.

One of the most important aspects of understanding a society is that the elements that make up that society are well known. At the top of these elements, religion has an important dimension. A better implementation of religious practice takes place through congregations. Knowing the characteristic structures of congregations will provide an understanding of the identity that it creates in the social sphere, the general religious structure, as well as facilitate the understanding of the society in which it is located. In this context, one of the most important dimensions of Turkish society is religion. Religious communities have very important meanings and functions in society. It is seen that sects and communities built a religious social identity on their followers in the context of their own institutional structures. There is not enough information about how the Ismailaga community, which has an important place in Turkey, built a religious social identity on its disciples. In this study, it has been tried to determine what kind of identity the Ismailağa community has built on its followers.
