Safiyyüddîn Ahmed Kuşâşî’nin Vera‘ İle İlgili Görüşleri

Abstract

“Kuşâşî” lakabıyla tanınan Ahmed b. Muhammed b. Yunûs el-Kuşâşî on yedinci yüzyılda Medine’de yaşamıştır. Başta Kâdiriyye, Nakşibendiyye, Rifâiyye, Çiştiyye, Şettâriyye, Şâzeliyye ve Kübreviyye olmak üzere birçok tarikattan icazetli bir sûfîdir. Kuşâşî, zâhirî ve bâtınî ilimlere vakıf bir şahsiyet olup başta Hicaz bölgesi olmak üzere Fas'tan Endonezya’ya kadar insanlar onun zaviyesi altında toplanmışlardır. Kuşâşî’nin ilim halkası ve manevi mirası diğer sûfîlerden daha coşkulu bir şekilde anılmıştır. Bu ilim halkası on dokuzuncu yüzyıldan önce Hint Okyanusu bölgesindeki yerlere ulaşan önemli bir ilim mektebidir. Bu ekolden Hindistan’ın büyük uleması da istifade etmiş ve Kuşâşî’nin eserleri onlara yol göstermiştir. O, kelam, fıkıh, tefsir, hadis ve tasavvufa dair elliden fazla eser telif etmiş velûd bir yazardır. Eserlerinin çoğu yazma eser olup bir tanesi de Kitâbu tebşîri’s-sâil bi istikmâli verâi’l-kâmil adlı eseridir. Bu makalede mezkûr eser ışığında Kuşâşî’nin vera‘ hakkındaki görüşleri ele alınacak olup bu konudaki diğer sûfilerle benzer ve farklı görüşleri ortaya konulmaya çalışılacaktır.

The concept of vera‘, which has been active in the lives of muslims since the firstperiods of Islam, is a moral principle, and a concept that has special meanings inSufism, is an issue that is on the agenda in every period. [Vera: It is a sufi termexpressing the advanced degree of piety] As a matter of fact, a considerableamount of work has been compiled on this subject. Kusahashī is one of thesecopyright holders. Ahmad b. Muhammad b. Yūnus al- Kusahashī, known by thenickname “Kuşâşî”, lived in Madinah in the seventeenth century. He is a certifiedSufi from many sects, notably Qādiriyya, Naqshbandiyya, Rifāiyya, Chistiyya,Shattāriyya, Shādhiliyya and Kubrawiyya. Kusahashī is a person who isknowledgeable in external and esoteric sciences, and people from Morocco toIndonesia, especially in the Hejaz region, gathered under his zawiyah. He is aproductive writer who has written more than fifty works on kalam, fiqh, tafsir,hadith and sufism. Most of his works are manuscripts. In this context, his views onvera‘ will be discussed in the light of his manuscript Kitâbu tebşiri's-sâil bi istikmâlivera‘i'l-kâmil. Kuşâşî interprets this concept differently from the early scholars andmystics. It is remarkable that Kusahashī tried to explain this concept differentlyfrom other Sufis, especially with the issues of fena and perfect human being. Inthis study, Kusahashī’s different views on this subject will be tried to be revealed.
