Öğretmenlerin Girişimcilik Algıları

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, ortaokullarda görev yapan öğretmenlerin girişimcilik algılarını tespit etmektir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, 2016-2017 öğretim yılında İstanbul ili Başakşehir İlçesinde bulunan resmi bir ortaokulda görev yapan 25 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Bu araştırma, nitel araştırma yaklaşımı çerçevesinde tasarlanmıştır. Araştırmada veriler yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme yöntemi ile toplanmıştır. Araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu çalışma grubuna elden dağıtılmış, öğretmenler görüşlerini yazılı olarak belirtmişlerdir. Araştırma kapsamında elde edilen verilerin analizinde içerik analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada şu sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır;1. Öğretmenlerin girişimcilik denilince en çok üzerinde durdukları kavram risk almadır (f=10). 2. Girişimcilik öğretmenlerde en çok risk ve yenilik (f=9) kavramlarını çağrıştırmaktadır. 3. Öğretmenler kendilerini kısmen girişimci bir birey (f=10) olarak algılamaktadır. 4. Öğrencilere girişimcilik becerisi kazandırmada en etkili faktör güven (f=10) faktörüdür. 5. Girişimcilik becerisi geliştiren en önemli ders Teknoloji ve Tasarım (f=15) dersidir. 6. Öğretmenler, girişimcilik becerisini geliştirmede en çok beyin fırtınasını (f=15) kullanılması gerektiğini belirtmiştir. 7. Öğretmenlerin sahip olduğu girişimcilik özellikleri öğrenciler üzerinde oldukça etkili olmaktadır.

The aim of this research is to determine the perceptions of the teachers working in secondary schools on entrepreneurship. In this research, working group consisted of 25 teachers working in a public secondary school located in district of Başakşehir, İstanbul in 2016-2017 educational year. The research was designed in a frame of qualitative research methods. The data were collected with semi-structured interview technique. The semi-structured forms which were prepared by researchers were distributed by hand to the working group and the teachers stated their opinions in writing. The data obtained within the scope of the research were analyzed with the content analysis. It was found out in the research that; 1.When the entrepreneurship was talked about, the concept of the taking risk was emphasized mostly by the teachers (f=10). 2. According to the teachers, entrepreneurship was associated with the concept of risk and innovation (f=9). 3. The teachers considered relatively themselves as an entrepreneur individual (f=10). 4. In order to provide entrepreneurship skill for students, the most effective factor was confidence (f=10). 5. The most important school subject improving entrepreneurship skill was technology design course (f=15). 6. The teachers stated that brain storming must be used mainly to improve entrepreneurship skill (f=15). 7. Teachers’ own entrepreneurship qualities were highly effective on students.
