İmam Hatip Okullarıyla İlgili Yayımlanan Çalışmaların İncelenmesi: 2000-2018 Yılları Arası Tezlerin Bir Meta Sentezi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın öncelikli amacı, Yüksek Öğretim Kurulu Tez Merkezi veri tabanında 2000-2018 arasında imam hatip okulları le ilgili yayımlanmış tezleri farklı boyutlarıyla incelemek ve ulaşılan sonuçları araştırmacıların dikkatine sunmaktır. Bu hedef doğrultusunda, 55 tez içerik analizine tabi tutulmuş, yani ihtiva ettikleri tüm veriler tasnif edilerek betimsel istatistik yöntemiyle incelenmiştir. Gerçekleştirilen analiz sonucunda elde edilen bulgular, imam hatip okullarıyla ilgili tezlerin ezici bir ağırlıkla yüksek lisans tezlerinden oluştuğu, bu tezlerde genellikle nicel desenlerin tercih edildiği, veri toplama araçları olarak anket ve tutum ölçeklerinin kullanıldığı ve örneklem grubunu çoğunlukla öğrencilerin teşkil ettiği yönündedir. Yapılan incelemede imam hatip okullarıyla ilgili tezlerin sayısında son yıllarda ciddi bir artış olduğu görülürken konu seçimi bakımından ilk sırayı öğrenci algılarının aldığı da belirlenmiştir. Bu bulgulara bakarak yayımlanan tezlerin belli alanlara yoğunlaştıkları ve dolayısıyla bazı önemli konuların göz ardı edildiği ya da hiç çalışılmadığı çıkarımı yapılabilir. Bu noktada araştırmacılara yol gösterecek bazı hususlar sonuç kısmında paylaşılmıştır. Bütün bu sonuçların yapılacak çalışmalara faydalı olacağı umulmaktadır.

The primary purpose of this study is to examine through a number of dimensions the theses published on Imam Hatip Schools between 2000 and 2018 in the Higher Education Council Thesis Center and to present the results to the attention of researchers. In line with this goal, 55 theses have been subjected to content analysis and examined. All the data have been classified and analyzed using descriptive statistics. According to the obtained data, theses on Imam Hatip schools consist mostly of master’s theses with quantitative designs being preferred in most of these theses; a significant increase in the number of theses about Imam Hatip Schools has been seen in recent years with questionnaires and attitude scales being used as data collection instruments and the majority of sample groups being composed of students. Student perceptions are found in first place as the studied subject. Based on these findings, the published theses are seen to focus on specific areas while certain important issues have either been ignored or not studied. Some issues that will guide researchers on this point have been shared in the results section. All these results are hoped to be useful for future studies.
