Medînetü’s Sûfiyye: Bir Cemiyet-i Kâmil Şehri

Abstract

Bu makale tasavvuf düşüncesini şehir formu içinde ele alarak yorumlamaya çalışmaktadır. Tarihte toplumları şehir bağlamı içinde anlatan bir gelenek bulunmaktadır. Tasavvufta da böyle bir geleneğin var olduğunu ileri sürüyoruz. Buna göre tasavvuf düşüncesi aracılığıyla şehir toplum ideali inşa edilmektedir. Buna cemiyeti kâmil tasavvurunun şehir planındaki varlığı da diyebiliriz. Bu çerçevede tasavvuf müktesebatında yer alan Mevlana, Muhammed Sadık ve Hacı Bayram Veli gibi önemli şahsiyetlerden yararlanılmaktadır. Medinetü’s Sufiyye olarak kavramlaştırarak konuyu açıklamaya çalışıyoruz.

This article attempts to interpret Sufi thoughts by considering them within the city form. There is a tradition in history to describe societies within the context of cities. We argue that such a tradition also exists in Sufism. Accordingly, the ideal of urban society is constructed through Sufi thought. We can also call this the existence of the concept of perfect community in the city plan. In this fra mework, important figures in the Sufi acquis such as Mevlana, Muhammad Sadiq and Haji Bayram Veli are referred in Sufism. We try to explain the subject by conceptualizing it as al-Madinah al-Sufiyyah.
