Destek eğitim odalarında eğitim alan okul öncesi kaynaştırma öğrencilerinin gelişimlerinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmada okul öncesi eğitim kurumlarında kaynaştırma öğrencilerinin ve destek eğitim odalarında eğitim gören kaynaştırma öğrencilerinin gelişimlerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Destek eğitimin mevcut uygulamaları ve öğrenci gelişimleri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmada araştırma modeli olarak nicel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Nicel araştırma yönteminin Deney-Kontrol ve Ön test-Son test deseni benimsenmiştir. Bu araştırmanın örneklemi İstanbul ili Küçükçekmece ilçesinde bulunan 2017-2018 öğretim yılında destek eğitim uygulaması yapan MEB’na bağlı okulöncesi eğitim kurumunda eğitim alan 20 kaynaştırma öğrencisi ile destek odasında eğitim alan 20 kaynaştırma öğrencisi olmak üzere toplam 40 öğrenciden oluşturulmuştur. Destek eğitim odasında öğrencilere destek eğitimi veren öğretmenler öğrencilerin gelişimlerini takip etmek için Rehberlik Araştırma Merkezi tarafından geliştirilen eğitsel değerlendirme formunu kullanmıştır. Öğrencilerin okula başlaması tarihinden bir ay sonra öğretmen gözlemler sonunda öğrencinin gelişimsel alanlarıyla ile ilgili bilgileri desenlemiştir. Okulun bitmesine bir ay kala öğretmenler öğrencideki değişimleri gözlemleyerek eğitsel değerlendirme formu tekrar doldurulmuştur. Öğretmen tarafında doldurulan veriler Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS 25) programı ile değerlendirilmiştir. Veriler çözümlenirken frekans tablosu ve frekans yüzdeleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen veriler göre; destek odasında verilen eğitim destek eğitim alan öğrencilerin psikomotor becerilerinin, bilişsel becerilerinin, dil gelişiminin, öz bakım becerilerinin, sosyal ve duygusal gelişiminin ilerlemesinde önemli derecede etkili olduğu söylenebilir. Psikomotor becerilerde yeteri kadar ilerleme sağlandığı görülmemiştir. Destek eğitim odalarında destek eğitim öğrencilerine verilen eğitim, kaynaştırma öğrencilerine verilen eğitime göre öğrencilerin psikomotor becerilerinin, bilişsel becerilerinin, öz bakım becerilerinin gelişmesinde ve öğrenci yetersizliklerine ilişkin gözlemlere olumlu biçimde yansımasına daha fazla imkân sağlamaktadır. Sosyal ve duygusal gelişim boyutunda iki grup arasında anlamlı bir fark oluşmamıştır.

In this study, it is aimed to examine the development of inclusion students who were educated in pre-school education institutions and students in support education rooms. The current practices of support education and student development are tried to be determined. In the study, quantitative research method was used as a research model. Experiment-Control and Pre-Post test pattern of quantitative research method is adopted. The sample of this study consisted of 20 students who received education in support rooms and 20 inclusion students who were educated in (Ministry of Education) pre-schools in Istanbul/Kucukcekmece in 2017-2018 education year. In the support training room, an instructional evaluation form developed by the Guidance Research Center was used to monitor the development of the students who provided support education to the students. One month after the students started the school, the teacher designed the information about the students' developmental fields at the end of the observations. One month before the end of the school, teachers observed the changes in the student and completed the educational evaluation form. The data collected by the teacher was evaluated with the Statistical PackagefortheSocial Sciences (SPSS 25) program. Frequency tables and frequency percentages were used when analyzing the data. As a result of the research, it can be said that the education given in the support room is significantly effective in the progression of psychomotor skills, cognitive skills, language development, self-care skills, social and emotional development of pre-school students. There has not been enough progress in psychomotor skills. Compared to the education provided to the inclusion students, the training provided to the support education students in the Support training rooms provides more opportunities for the students to reflect their psychomotor skills, cognitive skills, selfcare skills in the development of self-care skills and to the observations of the students. There was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of social and emotional development.
