Kur'ân Kurslarında Hafızlık ve İslami İlimler Eğitimi: Sultanbeyli Merkez Kur'ân Kursu Örneği

Abstract

Bu çalışma, Türkiye’de din eğitiminin önemli bir unsuru olan Kur’ân kurslarındayürütülen hafızlık eğitimi ve İslâmî ilimler öğretimini, Sultanbeyli Merkez Kur’ânKursu örneğinde incelemektedir. Söz konusu kurs, hem geleneksel yöntemlerlehafızlık eğitimi veren hem de örgün eğitimle entegre programlar sunan yapısıyladikkat çekmektedir. Araştırmada, öğrencilerin hafızlık sürecinde yaşadıkları deneyimler, motivasyon kaynakları, aile desteği, zaman yönetimi ve akademikbaşarıları üzerindeki etkiler değerlendirilmektedir. Ayrıca kursun fiziki şartları, sosyal etkinlikleri ve öğrenci gelişimine katkısı ele alınmaktadır. Hafızlıkeğitimi yalnızca ezberleme süreci değil, aynı zamanda sabır, öz disiplin ve sorumlulukbilincinin geliştiği bir hayat tecrübesi olarak tanımlanmakta; İslâmî ilimlerledesteklenmesi ise Kur’ân’ı anlama ve yaşama geçirme açısından güçlü bir zeminoluşturmaktadır. Öğrencilerin sosyal yaşamları, okul-kurs dengesi ve eğitici kadronun rolü de eğitimin kalitesine etki eden önemli unsurlar arasındadır. Çalışma, bu yönleriyle Sultanbeyli Merkez Kur’ân Kursu’ndaki hıfz ve İslâmî ilimlereğitiminin çok boyutlu etkilerini ortaya koyarak alana katkı sağlamayı amaçlamaktadır.

This study examines the memorization education and instruction of Islamic sciencesoffered in Qur’ān courses an essential component of religious education inTurkeythrough the case of Sultanbeyli Central Qur’ān Course. This institution stands out forproviding traditional ḥifẓ training alongside formal education programs. The researchexplores students’ experiences throughout the memorization process, their sourcesofmotivation, family support, time management skills, and the impact ontheiracademic performance. Additionally, the study evaluates the physical environment ofthe course, its social activity opportunities, and its contributions tostudent development. Ḥifẓ education is presented not only as a process of memorizationbut also as a life experience fostering patience, self-discipline, and a senseofresponsibility. Supported by Islamic sciences, this process offers a strong foundationfor understanding and practicing the Qur’ān. Students' social lives, the balancebetween school and course, and the role of instructors as role models are identifiedaskey factors influencing educational quality. Overall, the study aims to reveal themultifaceted effects of ḥifẓ and Islamic sciences education at Sultanbeyli Central Qur’ān Course and to contribute to potential improvements in this field.
