İstanbul'da Osmanlı Dönemi yapı kitâbelerinin hat san'atı açısından değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın konusu İstanbul'da Osmanlı dönemi yapı kitabelerinin (inşâ-tamir) hat sanatı cihetinden incelenmesidir. İstanbul'daki sivil, dinî ve kamu yapısı mimârî eserler arasından, sultan, hanım sultan ve paşaların inşâ ettirdiği binâlara âit 99 kitâbe seçilerek değerlendirmeye tâbi tutulmuştur. İnşâ yılı esas alınarak sıralanan kitâbeler hat sanatı açısından değerlendirilirken bu sanatın zaman içindeki seyri de görülmüş olmaktadır. Yazıldığı dönem esas alınarak incelenen kitâbelerde harf anatomisi, istif husûsiyeti değerlendirmeye tâbi tutulmuştur. Selçuklu etkisiyle başlayan yazı husûsiyetlerinin zamanla Osmanlı tarz ve tavrına dönüştüğü verilen örneklerle ortaya konulmuştur. Okunma kolaylığı sağlamak için düz yazı şeklinde yazılan kitâbelerin ayrıca transkripsiyonu yapılmıştır. Arapça ve Farsça olan kitâbelerin anlamları, manzum eser şeklinde olanların vezinleri verilmiştir. Ebced ile târih düşürülen kitâbeler belirtilmiştir. Kronolojik bir yaklaşım ile kitâbelerdeki yazı değerlendirilmeye tâbi tutulurken Türk tarzı yazının oluşum ve gelişim süreci ile beraber"Kur'an Mekke'de nâzil oldu, Mısır'da okundu, İstanbul'da yazıldı"sözünün de Osmanlı yapı kitâbeleri üzerinden gerçekliği görülmüştür.

The subject of this study is the evaluation of Ottoman period building inscriptions (both construction and repair) in Istanbul in terms of the art of calligraphy. Among civil, religious and public architectural buildings in Istanbul, 99 inscriptions of buildings which were built by sultans, female members of the sultan's family and pashas, were chosen and studied. The inscriptions were listed according to their year of construction. The transformation of the art of calligraphy over time can be seen when these inscriptions are evaluated. In the inscriptions which were examined on the basis of the written period, anatomy of the letters and their characteristics of design were evaluated. It has been introduced with the examples that the characteristics of the writing that started with the influence of Seljukids were turned into Ottoman style and attitude over time. In order to make it easy to read, inscriptions written in plain text have also been transcribed. The meaning of Arabic and Persian inscriptions and also verse forms of those in the form of poems were given. If the date with ebced was written in an inscription, it was indicated. The inscriptions were evaluated by a chronological approach. With the process of formation and development of the Turkish style writing, the reality of "the Qur'an was alighted in Mecca, read in Egypt, and written in Istanbul" can also be seen through the Ottoman building inscriptions.
