19.yy Niğde sancağına tâbî Bor kâzâsı müftülerinin toplumsal ilişkileri ve meşîhât-ı islâmiyye ile münâsebetleri

Abstract

Bu tezin konusu 19. yüzyıl Niğde ili Bor Kasabası müftülerinin Meşihat-ı İslamiyye ile olan ilişkileridir. Bu çalışmada bilimsel araştırma yöntemlerinden nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman incelemesi yapılmıştır. Doküman incelemesi sırasında Başbakanlık Osmanlı Arşivi mahiyetinde elde edilen bulgular üzerinden tümevarım sağlanmıştır. Ortaya çıkarılan tümevarım ile de bulguların betimsel analizi yapılmıştır. Bu hususta kadı sicillerinden yararlanılmıştır. Öyleki kadı sicilleri Osmanlı sosyal ve idari hayatının en mühim kaynaklarından biridir. Kadı sicilinde müftülere aid izler tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bununla birlikte çalışmamızda birincil kaynak olarak Bor müftüleri hakkında Meşihâte gelen şikâyetler incelenmiştir. Bu anlamda elde edilen bilgilerle Bor kasabasının şer'i idâre kadrosu ve bu kadroya başvurulan davalar hakkında bir tablo ortaya konulmuştur. Bu tablolar 19. yüzyılda görev alan Bor müftülerinin ailesi ve tayin süreçleri hakkında elde edilen bulgularla desteklenmiştir. Böylelikle 19. yüzyıla gelindiğinde Bor kasabasında müftülerin nüfuziyetini koruyamadığı bu sebeple adlî olaylara karıştıkları ve ulemâ ile münakaşâ içerisinde oldukları açığa çıkmıştır.

The subject of this thesis is the social relations of the muftis of Bor in Niğde in the 19th century. Document analysis, which is one of the qualitative research methods, has been done. Qadi (Ottoman judge) is responsible for the enforcement of both Islamic rules and administrative laws. Altough in our study, records of religious officials from the State Archive were used as the primary source. The descriptive analysis of the findings was discussed with tables and the subject was examined periodically. The contents of the registers of mufti and Qadi (Ottoman judge), who are representatives of religious administration, were investigated. With the information taken from the registry, a table was presented about the religious administration officials in Bor district and the cases applying to this staff. These tables are supported by the findings obtained from the 19th century Bor Muftis' appointments and institutional relations that emerged during their tenure. Thus, in the 19th century, it was revealed Bor muftis could not maintain their effectiveness in the provincial administration. For this reason, it was found that they got involved in judicial events and were in argument with scholars.
