Tarihsel gerçeklik açısından belgeselin sorunsalları

Abstract

Tarihsel Gerçeklik Açısından Belgeselin Sorunsalları isimli bu çalışma iki farklı alan olan tarih ile belgesel, tarihçi ile yönetmen arasındaki benzerlikler üzerine düşünmenin bir ürünü olarak ortaya çıkmıştır. Birinci bölümde "tarih", "tarihsel gerçeklik", "tarihsel nesnellik" kavramları üzerinde durulmuş, ardından tarihin birinci dereceden ilişkide olduğu belge konusu ele alınmıştır. Tarihin malzemesi olan belge ile belgesel arasında nasıl bir ilişki olduğu incelenmiş ve daha sonra ilk belge film çekimlerinden günümüze belgeselin geçmişi kısaca incelenmiştir. Belgeselin ilk kez sinema yazınına kazandırıldığı dönemden günümüze tanımı yapılarak belgeselin türleriyle ilgili sınıflandırmalara göz atılmış ve tarih konulu ya da tarihsel açıdan önemli belgesellerle ilgili yeni sınıflandırmalar kategorize edilmiştir. Çalışmanın ikinci bölümünde kendini tartışılmaz gerçeklik olarak sunan ve kameranın tahakküm edici gücünden de yararlanarak otoritesini gitgide arttıran belgeselin başlıca sorunsalları ele alınmıştır. Ele alınan bu sorunsallar şunlardır: "Gerçeklik", "Kurgu ve Kurmaca", "Özdeşleşme ve Yabancılaştırma", "İdeoloji ve Propaganda", "Melezleşme ve Canlandırma" ile "Etik". Bu sorunsallar ele alınırken aynı zamanda çeşitli belgeseller incelenmiş ve tartışılan hususlara kaynak olarak gösterilmiştir.

This study named "Problematics of Documentary in terms of Historical Reality" has emerged as a product of thinking on the similarities between two different fields, history and documentary, the historian and the director. In the first part, the concepts of "history", "historical reality", "historical objectivity" are emphasized, and then the issue of the document that history is in a first degree relation is discussed. The relationship between the document, which is the material of history, and the documentary was examined, and then the short history of the documentary from the first document filming to the present day. From the period when the documentary was first introduced to the cinema literature, the definition of the documentary has been made and the classifications related to the genres of the documentary have been examined and new classifications related to the historical or historically important documentaries have been categorized. In the second part of the study, the main problematic issues of the documentary, which presents itself as an indisputable reality and gradually increase its authority by taking advantage of the dominating power of the camera, are discussed. These problematics are: "Reality", "Editing and Fiction", "Identification and Alienation", "Ideology and Propaganda", "Hybridization and Animation" and "Ethic". While dealing with these problematics, various documentaries were also examined and referenced to the issues discussed.
