Bir üniversitede çalışan personellerin hipertansiyon hakkındaki bilgi tutum ve görüşlerinin değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışma, üniversitede çalışan personellerin HT hakkındaki bilgi, tutum ve görüşlerini değerlendirmek amacıyla kesitsel ve tanımlayıcı olarak yapıldı. Gereç ve Yöntem: Bu çalışmanın evrenini, Temmuz-Ağustos 2019 tarihleri arasında bir vakıf üniversitenin Aile Sağlığı Merkezi’ne başvuran bireyler oluşturdu Araştırmanın örneklemini ise, araştırmamıza katılmayı kabul eden 198 personel oluşturdu. Araştırmanın verileri, araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan anket formuyla yüz yüze görüşme tekniği kullanılarak toplandı. Tanımlayıcı istatistikler, Fisher’s Exact Test ve Pearson Ki-Kare verilerin değerlendirilmesinde kullanıldı. Bulgular: Araştırmaya dahil edilen bireylerin yaş ortalaması 34,75 ± 9,27 olup %61,11’inin erkek olduğu saptandı. Bireylerin %61,22’sinin evli, %42,56’sının lisansüstü mezunu olduğu belirlendi. Bireylerin üniversitede çalışma pozisyonları bakımdan %31,47’sinin akademik personel, %37,56’sının idari personel ve %30,96’sının ise destek hizmetleri personeli olduğu bulundu. Araştırmaya katılan bireylerin üniversitede çalışma pozisyonları ve yüksek tansiyonla ilgili bilgilere doğru cevap verme oranları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark olduğu ve akademik ve idari personellerin oranı, destek hizmetleri personeline göre önemli düzeyde daha yüksek olduğu bulundu. HT nedenleri arasında yaşlılık, ailesel yatkınlık ve hareketsizlik olduğunu düşünen ve HT durumunda sağlık kuruluşuna başvuran akademik ve idari personelin oranı, destek hizmetleri personeline göre önemli düzeyde daha yüksek bulundu (p<0,05). Sonuç: Araştırmaya katılan bireylerden akademik personel ve idari personelin daha bilgili olduğu ve HT durumunda sağlık kuruluşuna başvurma oranlarının daha fazla olduğu saptandı. Bununla birlikte ailesinde HT’si olan bireylerin olmayanlara göre daha bilgili olduğu saptandı.

Aim: This study was conducted as a descriptive and cross-sectional study in order to evaluate the knowledge, attitudes and opinions of university staff about HT. Materials and Methods: The population of this study consisted of individuals who applied to the Family Health Center of a foundation university between July and August 2019. The sample of the study consisted of 198 personnel who agreed to participate in our study. The data of the research was collected by face to face interview technique with the questionnaire form prepared by the researchers. Descriptive statistics, Fisher’s Exact and Pearson Chi-Square Test were used to evaluate the data. Results: The mean age of the participants was 34.75 ± 9.27 years and 61.11% of them were male. It was determined that 61.22% of the individuals were married and 42.56% were graduate graduates. Individuals in terms of working positions in the university 31.47% were academic staff, 37.56% were administrative staff and 30.96% were support services staff. It was found that there was a statistically significant difference between working position at the University of individuals participating in the study and the correct response rates to information about high blood pressure. And the ratio of academic and administrative staff was found to be significantly higher than that of support services staff. The rate of academic and administrative staff who thought that there was old age, familial tendency and inactivity among HT causes and applied to health institution in case of HT was found to be significantly higher than support services staff (p <0.05). Conclusion:It was found that the academic and administrative staff were more knowledgeable and the rate of applying to the health institution was higher in the case of HT.At the same time, individuals with HT in their families were found to be more knowledgeable than those without HT.
