Jinekoloji polikliniğine başvuran vajinal enfeksiyon tanılı kadınların genital hijyen davranışları ve genital benliklerinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Araştırma, jinekoloji polikliniğine başvuran vajinal enfeksiyon tanılı kadınların genital hijyen davranışları ve genital benliklerinin incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. 15 Nisan -15 Temmuz 2021 tarihleri arasında jinekoloji polikliniğine gelen vajinal tanılı 252 kadın katılımcı çalışmanın örneklemini oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma tanımlayıcı, kesitsel niteliktedir. Çalışmada kullanılan veriler "Kişisel Bilgi Formu", "Genital Hijyen Davranışları Ölçeği", "Kadın Genital Benlik İmaj Ölçeği" aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Çalışmada kadınların yaş ortalaması 37.65±7.45 olarak bulunmuş olup, %61.1'i ev hanımı, %43.3'ü ortaöğretim mezunu, %66.3'ünün ekonomik durumu orta olarak tespit edilmiştir. Çalışmada Genital Hijyen Davranışları Ölçeği Cronbach Alfa katsayısı 0.862, Kadın Genital Benlik İmajı Ölçeği Cronbach Alfa katsayısı 0.909 olarak, Genital Hijyen Davranışları Ölçeği toplam puan ortalaması 96±12.4 olarak, Kadın Genital Benlik İmajı Ölçeği puan ortalaması 23.5±4.34 olarak bulunmuştur. Çalışmada eğitim durumu arttıkça genel hijyen ve adet hijyeni alt boyut puanlarının arttığı görüldü. Düşük öyküsü olan kadınların genital benlik imajı puan ortalamasının daha düşük olduğu tespit edildi. Kadın Genital Benlik İmajı Ölçeği ile Genital Hijyen Davranışları Ölçeği alt boyutları (adet hijyeni, genel hijyen, anormal bulgu farkındalığı) arasında pozitif yönlü korelasyon olduğu (p<0.01), gebelik sayısı arttıkça genital benlik imajının azaldığı saptandı.

The study was conducted to examine the genital hygiene behaviors and genital selves of women with a diagnosis of vaginal infection who applied to the gynecology outpatient clinic. The sample of the study consists of 252 female participants with vaginal diagnosis who came to the gynecology outpatient clinic between April 15 and July 15, 2021. The study is descriptive, cross-sectional in nature. The data used in the study were collected through "Personel Information Form", "Genital Hygiene Behaviors Scale", "Female Genital Self-Image Scale". In the study, the average of the woman was found to be 37.65±7.45 years, %61.1 were housewife, %43.3 were secondary school graduates, %66.3 had a medium economic status. In the study, Genita Hygiene Behaviors Scale Cronbach Alpha coefficient was 0.862, Female Genital Self-Image Scale Cronbach Alpha coefficient was 0.909, Genital Hygiene Behaviors Scale total score average was 96±12.4, Female Genital Self-Image Scale average score was 23.5±4.34 detected. In the study, it was observed that the genital hygiene and menstrual hygiene sub-dimension scores increased as the education level increased. It was determined that women with a history of miscarriage had a lower mean genital self-image score. It was determined that there was a positive correlation (p<0.01) between the Female Genital Self-Image Scale and the Genital Hygiene Behaviors Scale sub-dimensions (general hygiene, menstrual hygiene, awareness of abnormal findings), genital self-image decreased as the number of pregnancies increased.
