Sağlık meslek lisesi yöneticilerinin liderlik vasıfları ile meslek dersi öğretmenlerinin iş doyumu ve tükenmişlik düzeyleri arasındaki ilişki

Abstract

Bu araştırmada Sağlık Meslek Lisesi yöneticilerinin liderlik vasıfları ile meslek dersi öğretmenlerinin iş doyumu ve tükenmişlik düzeyleri arasında bir ilişki olup olmadığı ve bu düzeylerin bazı değişkenlere göre (yaş, cinsiyet, medeni durum, eğitim düzeyi, meslekteki hizmet süresi gibi) farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığı incelenmiştir. Araştırmada ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini 2013-2014 eğitim öğretim yılında eğitim veren İstanbul'daki Sağlık Meslek Liselerinde görev yapan tüm yöneticiler ve meslek dersi öğretmenleri oluşturmaktadır. Örneklem ise bu genel evren içinden basit tesadüfi küme örneklem yolu ile belirlenen 189 kişidir. Araştırmada veri toplamak amacıyla Maslach ve Jackson (1981) tarafından geliştirilen ve Ergin (1992) tarafından Türkçe'ye uyarlanan “Maslach Tükenmişlik Envanteri”, Hackman ve Oldham (1980) tarafından geliştirilen ve Silah (2002) tarafından Türkçe'ye uyarlanan "Hackman ve Oldham İş Doyumu Ölçeği " ve J.K. Hemphill ve A.E. Coons (1950) tarafından geliştirilen ve Ergene (1990) tarafından Türkçe'ye uyarlanan “Liderlik Davranışlarını Betimleme Ölçeği” ve “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonunda; yöneticilerin ve öğretmenlerin iş doyumu ve tükenmişlik düzeylerinin orta seviyede olduğu bulunmuştur. Özel okulda görev yapan öğretmenler yöneticilerini anlayış gösterme boyutunda devlet okulundakilere göre daha yüksek puanla değerlendirmişlerdir. Kişisel başarı ve duyarsızlaşma alanında öğretmenler yüksek düzeyde tükenmişlik hissi yaşamaktadırlar. Tükenmişlik düzeylerinde yaş durumlarına göre 22-30 yaş grubuyla 31-40 yaş grubu arasında 31-40 yaş grubu lehine anlamlı farklılık bulunmuştur. Kişisel başarı ile duygusal tükenme arasında negatif yönlü çok zayıf seviyede bir ilişki vardır. Öğretmenlerin tükenmişlik duyguları ile iş doyumları arasında duygusal tükenmede negatif yönde, duyarsızlaşmada pozitif yönde bir ilişki bulunmuştur. İş doyumu ile duygusal tükenme arasında negatif yönlü zayıf seviyede bir ilişki vardır. Duygusal tükenme ile duyarsızlaşma arasında negatif yönlü orta seviyede bir ilişki vardır. Kişisel başarı ile duygusal tükenme arasında negatif yönlü çok zayıf seviyede bir ilişki vardır.

The purpose of this study is to determine the sources of the organizational stress that the school teachers, employed in the state run secondary schools or in the private secondary educational institutions suffer, to conduct a comparative analysis of the matter and to provide the necessary recommendations. The study is a correlational one, in which the descriptive model was utilized. The population of the study is comprised of the Istanbul Province Küçükçekmece County in the educational year of 2013 – 2014 and its sampling is comprised of a total of 219 teachers, employed at 4 state schools (118 teachers) and at 6 private schools (101 teachers). For resolving the sub – problems of the study; T Test was implemented in paired comparisons as the single – Direction Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was implanted and the subsequent percentage value was then calculated. The findings, revealed as the result of the study are listed that; significant differences were identified in the factor, called, "The Organizational Role" which is a sub – aspect of the Variable of Age Groups, significant differences were identified in the factors called "Career", "Organizational Role" and "The General Stress Sources"which are the sub – aspects of the Variable of the Educational Level of the teachers and it was further established that such difference is higher when the level of education is increased. Significant differences were identified in the Factors called "The Sources of General Stress", "Organizational Role" and the "Job Specific factors" which are the sub aspects of the Variable "the Institution that the Teachers are employed at" in favor of the teachers, employed in state organizations. The results of the study are revealed to be in parallel with the findings within the literature in some parts but also found out to be contrary to such findings in other parts. The findings were interpreted within the scope of the literature. The suggestions were developed in line of the obtained findings.
