Karşı cinse yönelik tutum ölçeğinin geliştirilmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı; ergenlik döneminde bulunan bireylerin karşı cinse yönelik tutumlarını ölçmek için geçerliliği ve güvenirliliği saptanmış bir ölçme aracı geliştirmektir. Araştırmanın verileri İstanbul Sabahattin Zaim Üniversitesi 1. Sınıf öğrencileri ile İstanbul Küçükçekmece’deki lise öğrencilerinden elde edilmiştir. Araştırma grubu %58’si kız (302), %42‘si (221) erkek olmak üzere 523 ergenden oluşmaktadır. Geçerlilik çalışması için açıklayıcı faktör analizi yapılmış ve ölçeğin tek boyutlu olduğu görülmüştür. Güvenirlik çalışması için Cronbach Alpha değeri hesaplanmış elde edilen değer .95 bulunmuştur. Yapı geçerliliğine destek bulmak amacıyla madde ayırt edicilikleri hesaplanmış ve her bir maddenin ayırt edicilik değerleri anlamlı bulunmuştur. Sonuç olarak güvenirlik ve geçerliliği saptanmış 26 maddelik Karşı Cinse Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği (KCYTÖ) geliştirilmiştir.The aim of this study is to develop a valid and reliable attitude scale for the measurement of the attitudes of adolescents towards the opposite sex. The data for the study were collected from the 1st year students of İstanbul Sabahattin Zaim University and from the students in high schools in Küçükçekmece district of İstanbul. The sample contains a total of 523 adolescents, of which 302 (58%) were female and 221 (42%) were male. An explanatory factor analysis were made for validity and the scale was found to be unidimensional. For reliability, the Cronbach alpha value was calculated and it was found to be .95. For construct validity, the distinctiveness of each item was calculated and they were found to be statistically significant. Consequently, a 26-item valid and reliable opposite sex attitude scale was developed
